Chapter - 5 Slave

Arya was about to destroy the beautiful world of Arya Kanch when the door opened. She turned around and saw Agustus standing there. She threw herself towards him, but due to the distance, she fell between them.

In anger, Agustus grabbed Arya's neck and pinned her to the wall. Arya tried to speak but couldn't. She started to argue back.

Justin came forward and said, "My lord, she... she will die."

Agustus looked at Arya with a sharp gaze and let go of her.

Arya fell to the ground coughing. Agustus sat close to her and, holding her face, said angrily, "Did you not think about the consequences before doing all this?"

Arya was furious now and retorted, "Consequences... what consequences will you bring? Inflict as much pain as you want. If you take my life, you've already taken your father's life for becoming a king. So, go ahead, do whatever you want."

Hearing Arya's words, Justin was astonished. The rumor about what Arya just revealed was spreading, but Agustus had never heard it directly until now.

Justin thought to himself, "No one can save her now."

Agustus looked into Arya's eyes in anger, and she looked back with the same intensity. He pulled her towards him and said, "Agustus Kingston never backs down. So, I'll break your pride and keep you alive. From now on, you will do exactly as I say. You will be my slave."

Arya's fury rose, and she shouted, "Slave... my foot! Just wait, I will leave this place soon, and you won't be able to stop me."

Agustus smiled like a devil, leaving Justin surprised.

Agustus turned Arya's face with his finger and said, "You think it's easy to leave from here? Listen, girl, you won't leave without my permission. You won't step out of my empire, let alone the castle."

Arya moved away his hand from her face and turned away.

Agustus looked at her closely and asked, "What's your name?"

But Arya ignored him as if she hadn't heard. Agustus forcefully turned her face towards him and demanded an answer.

Arya stared at him and said nothing. Agustus said, "If I'm talking, look at me and answer my question."

Arya kept staring and didn't respond. Agustus concluded, "Looks like this girl doesn't even have a name. From today, she's called 'slave'."

Arya was surprised to hear her name, so she shouted back, "My name is Arya, Arya!"

Agustus heard her name, looked back at her, and left.

Arya shouted after him, "You didn't hear me. My name is Arya. If you call me 'slave' again... I'll set this castle on fire, burn your hair, crush your mouth, and play with your bones. You won't even be able to imagine what I'll do to your eyes."

Justin looked at her and commented, "Seems like even 4-year-olds in this country have such childish behavior. I can't believe this girl single-handedly defeated 20 soldiers."

Arya saw that she was now alone. She looked around and thought, "I am Arya, and I will escape from here." She noticed a large window and felt a glimmer of hope.

Arya thought, "If I jump from here, I won't even be able to run away. They'll break my bones. Oh God, what kind of place have you trapped me in? Just let me go back once, I'll even give up studying Greek mythology and college."

Suddenly, the door to her room opened again, and without looking towards the door, she said, "He's back again. I've had enough this time. I'll break his head this time, that kid Agustus is gone." Saying this, Arya fell onto the floor, picked up a golden vase, turned it around and shouted, "Yaaaah..." and then ran towards the door.

Hearing the shouting, Justin, who was a short distance away, came running and yelled, "What's happening?"

Seeing everything was fine, he teased, "Why are both of you yelling?"

Looking at Justin, the girl behind the door went and said, "She was trying to kill me. That's why I screamed."

Arya quickly said, "I wasn't... I wasn't trying to... I was going to break that Agustus kid's head. How would I know she'd be here?"

Justin asked, "What did you say? Agustus' kid," then looked around and closed the door, "Look, girl, control yourself and talk properly, otherwise, you might end up dead."

Arya retorted, "Oh, so what kind of peaceful life am I living? I'll say it right in front of him. Agustus' kid, your king is mad, a lunatic, a beast."

The girl's laughter escaped her lips, and Justin, looking at her in anger, made her turn her head to the side out of fear.

Justin told the girl, "You have been assigned this responsibility. Hope you won't prove me wrong. Shut up now," and with that, he angrily opened the door and left.

Watching Justin leave, Arya made a face behind him.

The girl put her hand on her mouth upon Arya's action. Worried that Justin might see her smiling, she quickly closed the door.

Arya glanced at the girl from top to bottom, at her long golden hair and her sweet smile, her big eyes studying Arya.

Arya said to the girl, "Hey... why are you staring at me like that? Haven't you seen any other girl apart from yourself?"

The girl smiled and approached Arya, saying, "I've seen both girls and boys, but you're the most beautiful among them."

Arya thought that this girl might behave like Agustus and Justin, but her thoughts were reversed when the girl started talking to her so affectionately.

The girl touched her own lips as if she were keeping her smile in check and said, "You know, I was hearing about you since morning. Your name was on everyone's lips. And then Justin brought me here. I was scared at first, thinking how I would live alone in this castle where there's no other girl or woman. But then I found out that I was brought here for you."

Arya, puzzled, asked, "What do you mean? Wasn't there any other girl or woman here before?"

The girl explained, "No, but ever since King Agustus took the throne, he threw out all the women. And I've also heard that the former queen and her maids were killed by the King himself."

Hearing this didn't surprise Arya; she had already read about Agustus and even how he killed his parents. Arya laughed, "He's a real monster."

The girl put her hand on her head and said, "Yes, he is... I forgot to tell you my name. My name is Eliana."

Arya liked Eliana, so she thought of asking for her help. She said, "Eliana, can you help me with something?"

Eliana stuttered, "Th-this... I-I am here t-to h-h-help you, and... a-anything you need..."

Arya chuckled and said, "Alright, alright, don't be nervous. So, if we become friends, and if I tell you a secret, will you tell anyone else?"

Eliana quickly shook her head.

Arya grinned, "Well then, if we're friends now, who will you tell this secret to? Justin? Tell me."

Eliana nervously moved her head from side to side, denying it.

Arya teased, "So if you won't tell anyone, how will Justin find out? Will you tell him?"

Eliana stammered, "No... I... I won't..."

Arya chuckled, "Okay, okay, calm down. So, from today, you're my friend."

Eliana smiled and moved her neck in a way that Arya could tell she was relieved.

Arya, while sitting on the bed, signaled Eliana to come closer. When Eliana reached her, Arya grabbed both her hands and said, "I've come to the wrong century... I mean, I accidentally came back in time. I'm not from 1519, I'm from the 21st century."

Eliana's eyes widened in astonishment, and she almost screamed, "Whaaat?"

Arya kept her eyes closed, tightened her grip on Eliana's hands, and said, "I'm not from this century, I'm from the 21st century."

Eliana looked at Arya, perplexed and shocked. She let out a faint scream, "Wh-what do you mean?"

Arya released Eliana's hands and said, "I mean... I've come from a different time... I'm not from this era."

Eliana looked utterly confused, and in a state of shock, she almost yelled, "Whaaat?"
