One could barely see the beginning of dawn, when the Both arrived at the Village.
Both continued to walk a bit further down the path until they stopped in front of a building, whith "Spocząć" written on a sign hanging over the door.
The door itself had another, smaller sign hanging from it, whith big, bold and cursive letters spelling "closed".
Thump Thump Thump
Shinku knocked loudly against the door, but nothing happened.
Getting impatient, Shinku tried it, whith shouting, the second time.
"Rebecca! It's me! Shinku! please open the door!"
After waiting a bit the door, of the tavern/inn, opened whit a 'click' and Rebecca stood before them whit an angry face.
"Do you know wich time it is?
You always disappear and reappear as you like it.
This time you even brought a stranger with you.
You should consider yourself lucky, that the children didn't wake up, from the loud ruckus you made, in these early hours."
Rebecca wasn't loud or screaming, rather she spoke as quietly as she could to not wake her children up, but that didn't change the fierce under tone in her voice.
She really wanted to just close the door and go back to sleep, but she could not ignore the rumbling of those two's stomachs and a defeated sight left her lips.
"Come in and be quite.
You can tell me everything after you've eaten."
Rebecca let the both of them in, while continuing to sight the whole way to the kitchen.
Shinku and Kaido politely thanked her and seated themselves on one of the tables, waiting patiently.
Rebecca served hot sausages whith some sauerkraut and boiled eggs in a bread.
As desert was a piece of pie from the day before.
The both ate everything deliciously and, as compensation for making such a loud ruckus and thanks for the delicious meal, Shinku helped with the cleaning, while Kaido sat at the counter.
While cleaning the dishes, Shinku spoke to Rebecca quietly in a pleading voice.
"Can you do me another favor and give me some of that pain relieving salve that you praised and, if possible, some bandages?"
Rebecca was taken by surprise.
"Is that stranger injured?
Is that the reason you came back?
After almost a month, with no contact from you.
How can you be sure that he's not some dangerous person, that would harm you or my Family!?"
Rebecca had no clue, for why Shinku was gone, but she feared the dark side that lies in every human.
That was also the reason she could not understand why Shinku brought him here.
Even if he was injured it did not seem so bad as to bring him here.
"You're right he is a stranger, but you don't need to worry.
He won't harm your children, your Husband, yourself or the rest of the villages people.
He has some scratches and bruises here and there, but I'm also asking for my own sake."
"Are you trying to make me believe that you are injured?"
Rebecca scoffed back in denial not believing that Shinku, the one that she herself saw go up against a Stonebear empty handed and coming out without a scratch, is the injured one.
"Thank you for the food it was delicious."
Giving up on the salve and thanking her again.
Shinku returned to were Kaido was still sitting and sat down besides him, but before they could even start a conversation.
"Where are you injured?"
Tump!
Rebecca angrily said, while putting a basket, full of medizin, salve and bandages, on the counter.
Shinku respondes with giggles, while asking.
"I thought you didn't believe me?"
"Stop talking back to me and show me where to put the salve on."
She tried to give treatment to them both, but Shinku and Kaido were to flustered to be treated by her.
Shinku was somehow able to persuade her, to let them treat each other by themselves in a separate room, but that didn't stop her from nagging them both.
"Here the key to room 108.
Go treate each other properly and Shinku you still own me an explanation."
"Yes ma'am.
Kaido let's go."
Having overcome this embracing situation and Rebecca gone to prepare the opening of the tavern/inn, the two of them have gone to the room Rebecca told them to go.
In the small room was a bed and a cabinet beside it, which also functioned as a bedside table, because of it's design.
The bedding was fresh and the small window allowed for the early dawn ray's to shine into the quiet room.
Shinku put the basket on the bed and hand gestured to Kaido, to come closer, but Kaido didn't move.
Thinking that his fever was back again, Shinku moved towards Kaido, but surprisingly Kaido backed away.
Staring at him there was no disgust, nor was there any fear in his eyes, but jet again, wenn Shinku approached Kaido, Kaido would back away.
Shinku couldn't help but giggle at Kaido's behaviour and ask a playful question, which Kaido answered with a deadpan expression.
"What game are we playing Kaido?"
"Not playing."
"If we're not playing a game, why are you backing away from me?"
Even while saying so Shinku burst into a fit of laughter as they again approached Kaido, but this time, Kaido, who had his eyes on Shinku the whole time, tripped against the bed frame and fell, besides the basket, on top of the bed.
Shinku used this opportunity and pinned Kaido underneath them and asked, with a wide grin, across there face, and bright laughter in there voice.
"Why are you acting so shy, after being a beast in the sheets or are you always this shy afterwards?"
"Don't know."
Kaido's face may have ben red, but his voice was still as deadpan as before.
Shinku feelt a desire to tease him, but then, realisation downed onto them.
"Huh? What do you mean 'don't know'?"
Shocked by the realisation, Shinku stopped moving and stared at Kaido in disbelief.
Kaido, still laying beneath Shinku, was flustered, by the proximity of Shinku's face to his own and there shocked reaction.
"Don't know means don't know."
His voice quivered slightly, with a tint of anxiety, as he answers Shinku, who's face rapidly changes from shock and surprise to flustered and embarrassed to, lastly, shy excitement.
"Are you implying that, I'm your first?"
"You don't like being my first?"
Shinku couldn't take the excitement any longer and burst into a fit of laughter as they collapsed onto Kaido, which confused Kaido greatly.
It took them a moment, to calm down enough, for them to playfully ask a question back, with laughter still present in there voice.
"Do you like being my first?"
This time it was Kaido's turn to stop moving and stare in disbelief.
Questioning himself if what he heard was the truth or a delusion of his, but Shinku didn't give him time and started to kiss him passionately.
Taking each other's breath away with a single kiss, but still desiring even more, more of this sweet feeling, becoming closer, feeling that unbearable heat and the resulting satisfaction, that can only come from the other, but Shinku stopped whith the kiss abruptly.
Pulling away and pressing Kaido back onto the bed's surface, while huffing out of breath and spoke, in a lamenting almost sad voice.
"I will take that excited member of yours, that has been twitching against me, as a Yes and, even dough, I really desire to continue this with you right now, it would be better to first get treated and talk about why you initially came to me."
(The Rest will come at a later Time.)
