Austin stared down at the pretty girl who popped out of nowhere. Austin looked at Alora who was red with embarrassment and back at the girl. He removed his mask and knelt down before the girl. He pulled out a soft pink plush toy from his bag and held it before her.
What is your name?"
"I am Allison and you are?"
"Well, my name is Ace. Say, Allison, do you want it?" Austin asked, gently tugging on Ally's hair. She nodded and he released it to her. She squealed and muttered a 'Thank you.' Austin pulled out another toy, which was blue and gave Allison.
"Your welcome. Give your brother this one. Say it's from Uncle Ace." She nodded again and ran into the house. Austin stood up and faced Lora, who was both scared, shy, embarrassed and a whole other emotions as well.
"You didn't have to." Lora said, her face bright pink.
"I think I did." He held her hands and Alora's face whitened.
"I had always knew you were Austin Cannon. That murder." She pulled her hands away and Austin's heart shattered.
"You don't understand..."
"Of course, I understand." Lora shot back. "You enjoy the pain you cause others, the agony." Tears shone like marble on Lora's face and Austin reached out to wipe them but she turned away and cleaned her face.
"You know, I don't believe that you are the kind hearted person who walked me home yesterday."
"Please wait..." Before Austin could grab her sleeve and pull her back, Alora disappeared into the house.
