Alora hurried to school. She couldn't afford to be late. She spotted Leslie and ran to her.
"Hey, Lora." Lezz hugged her. "We have a rest today."
Lora groaned. "On biology or software engineering?"
"Both, but you also have linguistics tests."
They made their way to their class, thirty minutes earlier than the teacher. The classroom was filled with students who were either reading or chatting.
The pair sat at their desks and pulled out their notebooks. Soon enough, the class teacher arrived and the first test was over and the next.
"I am heading of to the lab. I have countless projects." Lezz packed her bags. "Hurry with your linguistics test and meet me there."
She walked out of the class and Ms. Nova, the linguistics teacher, walked in. After giving the test to the class she sat down, awaiting the students.
Lora finished quickly, knowing well that she had answered correctly. She submitted her test and waited for her mark.
"Well done, Alora." Ms. Nova returned her script. "That's a hundred in a row."
"Thank you. " She took her script. "I was a bit dazed by the last three questions."
The class let out a surprised gasp. She was a genius, no doubt. Lora left and walked pass countless students and into the science lab were she met Leslie.
Austin woke up. His shirt was unbuttoned but not all the way down. The room was cleaned and he was lying on the bed, covered by a blanket. He trotted to the bathroom where a message awaited for him.
'You slept like a child yesterday and you don't snore.'
Heather had written this in his mirror in red lipstick. He sighed and cleaned it off. Alora was going to be at school so, he could drive oner there whem school was over.
He took a shower and dressed before rushing downstairs. Calum was reading the newspaper and the whole place was clean, with no signs of a previous party, what so ever.
"Did you enjoy the party?" He asked ever so innocently.
"I don't know if she slept with me or not. "
He went to kitchen and after dismissing the chef, got to making his breakfast. Cooking wasn't really his thing and he wanted something really simple.
He got to making a sandwich. Lettuce, onions, carrots, broccoli and celery, finely chopped and integrated into a bowl of boiled eggs, sausages, french cheese and anchovies.
'I hate cooking' He toasted the sandwich and sat at the table. As soon he was about to put it in his mouth, Sally snatched the plate and dumped it in the trash.
He grumbled and a few moments later, she came out of the kitchen with a plate of pasta and italian red sauce.
"Austin, the next time I find you with a sandwich, I would destroy all the french bread in the house. Did you hear me?"
"I did. " He took the plate from her and quickly ate. He had to go to work before going to Alora's college.
