Italian Cruelty

Sean walked back to Alora's house and was suprised when he heard her laughing. He entered the house and saw Austin and Alora at the dining table, triming flowers and placing them in vases.

They were laughing wholeheartedly and Alora seemed to have forgotten about their quarrel. Sean cleared his throat and they both stopped laughing.

"Alora, won't you introduce us?" Sean asked with a smug look on his face.

"Austin, this is Leslie's brother, Sean Bertelli." She didn't want to introduce Austin to Sean but she had no choice. "And Sean, this is Austin Cannon." She struggled to bring the last words out of her mouth."My boyfriend."

Austin extended his hand and Sean took it while observing his adversary. 'He was quite attractive.' Sean took note of his pitch black hair that had fallen all over his eyes, causing it to look messy in a cute way.

He wore a grey shirt and white jeans that clung to him like a second skin. He looked so harmful yet, his eyes were filled with rage, fury and a couple of emotions that he couldn't understand.

How could someone look so innocent but could emanate an overwhelming air of charisma? Austin was certainly not to be trifled with.

Austin was aware of Sean assessing him and he did the same. Wasn't he the guy that kisssed Alora at the church? This made Austin much more angry. He had the guts to kiss her then, make her cry. He really wanted imprint his fist on his face. Maybe knock out a couple of teeth.

"Ah, the infamous Austin Cannon." Sean said carelessly. "It is a pleasure to finally meet you."

"Same here."

Austin smiled beguilingly at Sean. His smile was way too beautiful to be trusted but he just had to smile back. Alora was happy and relieved that Austin hadn't taken Sean's insult personally.

"You are Italian, right?" Austin smiled. "Italy is spectacular place."

"Wow, I wasn't expecting you to know anything about beauty." Sean chided.

'I am getting nowhere with this man.' Austin faced Lora and said, "I thought we could go out for ice-cream later." He smiled once again as if ignoring all of Sean's rude comments.

"I would love to go." She turned to Sean who was fuming in a corner. "Sean, I think you can handle the rest of the flowers." Alora took off her apron and sent a quick message to her mom. "Bye Sean."

She sped out of the house and waved at him. Sean watched Austin's car drive off, leaving hatred still burning in him.
