Ice Cold Rage

Alora locked herself in her room, she was worried about Austin and didn't want to see anyone else. Meanwhile, Austin was cleaning up from his recent massacre. He ran to his car and drove to her house.

"Hello Austin." Lorna greeted him once he arrived.

"Evening Mom." He replied her greeting. He had started calling her Mom and called Ron Dad.

"Lora is in her room. She hasn't left it since she returned from school." She informed him.

"Thanks Mom." He went to her room door and knocked on it.

"Who is it?" Came a reply from inside.

"It's Austin."

She opened the door and hugged him. "I thought you had died or gotten lost or..."

"I'm alive and that's what matters. Can I come in?"

"Yeah." She opened the door wide enough for him to enter.

"There is something important that I have to tell you." She sat down and looked at her sternly. "Someone is trying to kill you."

Those words rang in her head over and over again.

"Who? Why? When?" She asked.

"I don't want you to get worried about you but I will find him and I think I know who it is."

"Who is it?" He had easily piqued her interest.

"Do you remember when I told you that being involved with me will cost you?"

"Yes, you must have mentioned." She tugged on her hair anxiously.

"Well, one of my mafia buddies must be trying to end your life. Don't worry, I will be watching but I will also get very busy so, you might be seeing less and less of me." He smirked and stood up to leave. "You won't die, don't worry."

"What are you doing here?" Heather asked as he entered her room and locked the door.

"Why did you touch her?" He simply implored, his eyes as cold as ice and fist clenched tightly. He wore no expression that night.

"What are you talking about?" She broke into a cold sweat.

"You tried to kill her." He said in a deadly calm tone.

"Austin, you are being..."

Before she could finish, he moved like lightning, across the room and held her by the neck, slowly lifting her from the ground.

"If you hurt her, you will die." He slammed her face to the wall, making her nose bleed and she groaned in agony. "That's for future reference."

With that, he left the room and drove out of her house. 'I definitely made myself clear this time.'
