A few days later, Austin booked Alora a flight for Paris. He didn't want her to leave but he could always come and visit and if she was happy, he was happy.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked before the plane took off. "I am worried about your safety. The land could catch fire, it may lose an engine or two, the pilot fainted and the co-pilot died..."
"I will be fine." She interrupted him. "It's as if you are hoping for that to happen."
"I am just reluctant to let you leave." He hugged her.
"Promise you'll visit."
"Always."
She boarded the plane and he watched it take off. He turned to leave and took out a set of keys from his pocket.
"Time for Plan B."
"Hey mom." Austin knocked at the Silva's house door. "It's me, Austin. Are you in? There's something we have to talk about."
"I'm coming." Zeke opened the door and began questioning him. "Hey Austin, has Lora's plane gone yet? Do you think she is okay?"
"Good afternoon to you, Zeke. How about you let me in?" He looked down at the child.
"Of course." He stepped aside, allowing Austin to come in.
Ron and Lorna were sitting on a sofa, both reading magazines, Ally was sitting ona rug with a board filled with chess pieces. Zeke ran back to the rug and sat down.
"It's good to see you." Lorna said, flipping the page of the magazine she was reading.
"Austin, welcome my boy." Ron hugged Austin and sat him down.
"There is something important we need to talk about." He said in a very serious tone.
"What is it?" Ron asked, looking very nervous.
"I plan on marrying your daughter."
Lorna dropped her magazine, Zeke and Ally stared at him with their mouths open and Ron had absolutely nothing to say.
"That's wonderful, Austin." Ron exclaimed and the twins jumped on Austin.
"You're going to be our uncle." They both shouted and ran around.
"So, since I will be marrying her, making you my inlaws, I want you to move into another house." He smiled at Lorna. "You can't refuse."
"You are joking, right?" She was shocked when he handed her a set of keys.
"I have contacted a group of men who will move everything to the house. It has three bedrooms and a guest house, among other things." They just gaped at him. "I'm serious."
"But Austin, where will Alora stay? She traveled to Paris." Ally pointed out.
"She would be living with me."
