An hour later...
"For Ally's bedroom, we opt for a dark, sophisticated color scheme like deep purples or blues for the backdrop. Then, use accents of gold or silver to evoke the city's elegance." Workers ran around, picking cans and cans of paint.
"We will consider incorporating Parisian-inspired elements like silhouette decals of famous landmarks, vintage-style artwork, or even a mural depicting the Paris skyline. Soft lighting and touches of romantic decor, such as lace curtains or faux fur throws, can add to the ambiance."
"It's as if you are explaining a work of art." Zeke sipped on his milkshake.
"Everything is art. Time to get our painting supplies." All the workers in the store groaned. "We need paint brushes of different sizes and types, tarps, paint trays, primer, Rollers and roller covers, step stool and texture tools."
Another ordering hour later...
"Now that we are done with bedroom painting supplies," Austin shut his car's trunk. "Let's move on to clothes."
By the time they had finished with their all out shopping madness, it was already night. He left them to sleep in the guest rooms while he got to painting. Almost immediately, Alora called.
"What's up babe?" He asked with a casual tone.
"The plane just landed. Do the kids miss me?"
"Not too much. I took them shopping, just to get their mind off it." He paused, feeling his heart ache. "I miss you."
She didn't say anything for a long while until, "Yeah, me too."
"I really have to go, call me when you get to your uncle's. I love you."
"Love you too."
He was so surprised by her answer that he fell off his step stool and crashed to the floor. When he had finished painting both rooms, it was morning and the cleaners would soon be arriving. He changed his clothes and organized the cleanup.
Lorna and Ron were still sleeping and so were the twins, giving him extra time to buy furnitures, televisions and all what not. He arranged their clothes in each closet and hung up the posters that they got.
When he was done, it was afternoon. The kids were playing snakes and ladders while he sent their parents for a spa session. They needed a driver, he hand to hire bodyguards, enrol them in better schools. So much work!
