Alora checked the address that her mother had sent to her; she was at the right place. Her parents had decided to send her to live with her mom's younger brother, Asher.
His house was not too big and she was just fine with it. It's exterior was painted warm brown and grey. There was a patch of white lilies which she had known to be Josie's favorite.
Josephine and Charles were the only children of Asher, both twins and her childhood friends. It was very late at night and she had just called Austin.
He sounded almost depressed and lifeless but like the great saying, 'If you love someone, you have to learn how to live without them.'
She opened the gate and carried her luggage to the front porch. With a smile on, she rang the doorbell. She heard voices from inside and footsteps approached the door.
"Bonsoir Alora." Asher opened the door and hugged her.
"Uncle Ash, I am happy to see you too." She loved how excited he was.
"Hey guys, Alora's here." He announced and pulled her bags into the house.
He took them upstairs, leaving Alora to admire the house. She locked the door and looked around the room. Ash's late wife had been amazing at decorating.
Vases stood at every corner and so did paintings. There was a back fussy rug on that covered every section of the floor and the walls were painted in antique gold.
A blonde girl was laying upside-down on an armchair. She was dressed similarly to Alora and soon as she noticed her, she jumped off the chair.
"Alora, what a pleasure it is to see you." Josie and Alora had a little handshake that they shared as kids and once they had finished, Josie snuggled her.
"Awww, you remembered." She cheered.
"How would I forget?" Alora questioned with a teasing smile.
Josie was wearing a long cream gown and a yellow jacket while Alora wore a light brown trouser, grey blouse and a long flaxen brown coat.
They looked typically the same but instead of having an hourglass figure like Alora, Josie's body shape was more like an oval.
She had blue eyes like Alora but the only difference was that her eyes were so light that it had lost it's blue color and looked a bit gray.
"Let me hang your coat." Josie took off Alora's coat and suddenly screamed. Charles and Asher ran downstairs as soon as they heard it.
