Alora's POV

When the plane landed I had no idea what I was looking for. But that's normal, right? I mean I just moved here. A man with a staff and a long beard came to me. "Hello, Alora," he said.

I hesitated. "Um, are you Master Wu?"

"Yes."

I smiled. "Hi."

HE smiled. "Come with me." I followed him out and he led me onto a freakin' flying boat. There were people in all kinds of colors. "This is Kai, Cole, Jay, Zane, Nya, Pixel, and Lloyd," Master Wu said pointing to them as he said their names. "Ninja, this is Alora. Her power is emotions."

I smiled faintly. "Hi."

Nya smiled back. "Hello."

I looked around uncomfortably. They were all staring at me! "Um, where will I be staying?" I asked nervously. I just wanted to escape those stares!

"You'll be staying with us at the monastery," Master Wu said.

I walked to the edge of the boat and looked down. We were so high up. "How far is it?" I asked.

"We'll be there soon," Nya said.

I nodded but didn't lift my eyes. The City was huge and I couldn't take my eyes off the scenery. Movement beside me made me side-glance. Lloyd had moved to stand beside me. "Is this your first time in Ninjago?" He asked.

I nodded. "My are old friends of Master Wu. They told me I'd be staying with you guys." Not that it was a good idea.

Lloyd's POV

She looked uncomfortable. I glanced at Master Wu. Her parents had been friends with him? Why did I feel a pull to her? I closed my eyes. "We'll keep you safe."

"Humph. I'm sure you'll get injured doing that. Lucky for you I'll be able to heal you."

I opened my eyes. "You have two powers?"

She shrugged. "Yeah. I didn't even know I had powers until yesterday when my parents told me."

"Did that scare you?"

She shook her head. "No. I don't scare easily. It was just hard to leave my friends to come here." She sighed. "Did it scare you when you found out you were the Green Ninja?"

I looked away. "No. I wasn't happy that I would have to fight my dad." That was actually the main reason I wasn't sure I wanted to be the Green Ninja even if I was terrible at being evil.

She smiled faintly. "I wouldn't know what I would do if I had to do that." Her phone started ringing. She giggled when she saw who was calling.

I frowned. "What?"

She grinned. "It's one of my friends. I asked my mom to tell her parents something and now she's calling me to chew me out."

Alora's POV

I answer still giggling. "So? How'd it go?"

"You pain! Why did you have your mom tell my parents?" Darla yelled.

"Because I wasn't there to do it myself," I said without any regret.

"You...you," she groaned. "I have no comebacks."

I snickered. "You're a terrible cool kid."

"You suck!"

"That's not a good comeback, you dork." Lloyd was looking at me with a raised eyebrow. I grinned at him. "Hey, Darla. The Green Ninja is looking at me like I'm crazy." Lloyd rolled his eyes.

"Wait, what?!? You met the Green Ninja!!!"

"Sure, he's standing right next to me. Did I forget to mention I was staying with the Ninja?"

"Alora Drew!"

I burst into laughter. "Oops."

"You are so dead!"

"How will you do that? I'm pretty far away and I know your parents won't pay for the ticket out here."

"Ugh!"

I saw the monastery. "Hey, I have to go. See ya." I hung up and looked at Lloyd. "What? Friends tease each other."

He snorted. "Sounds like you were calling your friend names."

"We do that."

He shook his head and smiled. "I'm assuming you did something that she didn't like."

I snickered. "Yeah, and that was standing next to you."

He frowned. "Huh?"

I started giggling. "You're her favorite ninja. Mine too. If she was here she'd be fangirling over you."

He huffed. "I don't need any more fans."

"Hey, I might be a fan but I'm not fangirling."

He snorted again. "I might lock you in your room if you do that."

I rolled my eyes. "If you do you're losing your personal healer."

He sighed. "And I wouldn't want to do that now would I?"

I blinked. He was teasing me? And I was doing it back! He was trying to make me more comfortable. I shrugged. "Your choice."

He smiled. "Thanks."

Kai came over. "What are you two talking about?"

"Lloyd locking me in my room," I said grinning.

Lloyd rolled his eyes. "Tattletale."

I giggled. "No, more like the truth."

Kai snorted. "Do you know how to fight, Alora?"

I winced. "You want to turn me into a ninja, don't you?"

"I believe that's Master Wu's plan," Zane said as he came over.

I sighed. "No, I don't know any of your moves and I definitely can't for spinjitzu."

"We'll train you," Lloyd said.

I looked at their ninja suits. "What ninja will I be?"

"Master of Emotions and Healing," Nya said.

I rolled my eyes. "What suit color would that be?"

"Pink?"

I wrinkled my nose. "I'll take any color minus pink and purple. Those a way too girly."

Lloyd grinned. "Maybe it should be pink."

I glared. "See if I heal you when you get hurt."

"Is that before or after I lock you in your room?"

I huffed. "I believe we made it clear you won't be doing that."

Lloyd snorted. "You sure about that?"

I sighed. "Honestly? Not really."

"Your suit will be gray with pink," Master Wu said.

I blinked and Lloyd smirked. "Looks like you'll get pink after all."

I glared. "You will pay for that one."

"When?"

"After you train me."

Nya's POV

Yes! Pixel and I will no longer be the only girls. I looked at Lloyd. He seemed to actually like her. I hope they get together. I turned to Alora. "Do you like being called Alora? Or do you have a nickname you'd like us to call you?"

She hesitated. "Al is my nickname. You can call me whichever you'd like."

"I'll call you Al then," I said firmly.

She smiled. "Okay." Her phone rang and she frowned. She didn't answer it.

"Is something wrong?" Lloyd asked.

Al looked at us all. "Unknown number."

"Could it have been the people who were after you?" Pixel asked.

Al paled. "I hope not."

I walked over. "Did they leave a message?"

She looked and shook her head. "Scam calls do that though." Her phone buzzed again with the same number. She pushed the phone into her pocket. "I won't answer."

"Maybe you should, to see who they are?" Jay suggested.

Al hesitated. "I was taught never to answer a phone call whose number I didn't know."

"We'll be here if it's something bad," I said.

She nodded and when it rang again she answer putting it on speaker. "Hello?"

"Is this Alora Drew?" A male voice said.

"Yes," she said.

"I'm Officer Renner. I'm calling to inform you that we found your parents dead just now."
