Alora's POV

It felt like my entire world turned upside down. My eyes filled with tears. "Are you sure?" I whispered.

"Yes. I'm sorry. Do you know anyone who would want to hurt them?"

The tears started rolling down my cheeks. The people who were after me got them but I couldn't tell the cops that. "No."

"Alright, call us if you think we should know something."

"I will." I hung up and collapsed.

Nya knelt and hugged me. "I'm so sorry, Al."

My jaw tightened and I used my power to force the grief down. It worked. My parents died for me and I'll make sure that I make them proud. "I hope these guys come after me," I said. "I'd like to kick their asses for what they did to my parents." I stood and looked at each of the ninja in the eye. "Train me and help me beat them. Please."

Lloyd nodded without any hesitation. "We better get started then."

After two months until I was one of them. I'm just glad I don't have to train so hard anymore. Oh, and my spinjitzu is pink. Ugh. I stood on the roof by myself and sighed as I sat. I looked at the stars. I will make them pay, Mom, Dad.

"Staring into space? I didn't think we pushed you that hard," Lloyd said sitting beside me.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm a ninja now. That's all that matters for the moment." I looked at my hands. "I don't know if they're going to come for me, Lloyd. They would have to figure out where my parents sent me and I doubt they managed to get my parents to talk."

He sighed. "They'll find you and we'll be ready when they do."

My mouth twitched. "Looks like I'm giving Ninjago more bad guys."

"Alora," he said seriously. I looked at him. "People come after me all the time because I'm the Green Ninja. But the ninja kept me safe and we're going to do the same for you."

I froze when a thought occurred to me. "Lloyd? These guys are after my powers. Once they see you guys have powers they might try to take those too."

"Then we'll keep fighting. When we fought Chen he took our powers one by one but we didn't give. Do you know why?"

"Ninja never quit," I muttered.

He smiled. "Yes."

I sighed. "That might not help in this situation."

"It helps in every situation."

Lloyd's POV

I'm beginning to think Nya was right when she told me I was falling in love with Alora. She wasn't confident at the moment and I wanted to make her feel better. "So gray and pink does suit you," I said.

She snorted. "Say that again and see what happens."

I stood. "Pink suits you."

"That's it!" She launched herself at me and we both fell off the roof and landed on our feet.

I smirked. "Is that all you got?"

"Pesky ninja," she muttered before kicking out her leg to sweep mine out from under me. I jumped back and threw a punch which she caught. She smirked. "Dork."

I snorted and swept her legs out from under her. Then pinned her to the ground. "Now who's the dork?" I said.

She glared. "Let me up!"

I smiled. "Make me."

"Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon! Let. Me. Up!"

I rolled my eyes. "Full naming me won't do anything."

She groaned. "I surrender. Though you're the one that started it."

I rolled off her. "Maybe I did maybe I didn't."

She snorted. "You are ridiculous."

I grinned. "You are too."

She stood. "We both are. Does that work for you?"

I stood up too. "For now." I heard a sound and whirled. Six guys completely dressed in black were on the roof. "Alora," I said in a warning tone.

She twisted and inhaled sharply. "Do you think that's them?" She muttered moving to stand beside me.

I honestly didn't know. "Possible."

She glanced at me. "You don't know, do you?"

"Do you?" I countered.

One of the guys threw a dagger at her. She flipped and it miss. "Yup," she said as she dodged more. Okay, being ignored is not my strong suit. I shot my power at the one throwing the daggers and it hit him in the chest. One of the other guys threw a dagger at me and it sank into my shoulder. "Lloyd!" Alora cried.

"I'm fine," I said through my teeth. I yanked the dagger out and threw it at the guy who had thrown it at me.

Alora flipped through the air and landed beside me. "I can feel the pain you're going through you know."

"Your power sucks sometimes," I replied.

She smiled a little. "Agreed." She touched my shoulder and it healed. Then she tackled me to the ground and several daggers flew over our heads. "Ouch," she grumbled as she stood up.

I looked at her and my eyes widened. Her leg was bleeding badly. "Alora!"

She looked at me. "I'm fine. It's healing."

I nodded and tugged her out of the way of more daggers. Lightning shot above. Fire and ice followed along with water. "Guys!" I said.

"What happened?" Nya said as she landed beside us.

Alora smiled. "They found me."

I looked at her leg. "It doesn't look like it's healing, Alora."

She looked at me. "I can heal other people fast but I when I heal myself, it's slow."

I shook my head. Damn. We used our powers and soon we had them tied up. I knelt in front of one of them. "Why are you after Alora?"

Alora's POV

My leg was taking a long time to heal but my head snapped up at that question. "Lloyd, it doesn't matter."

"Yes, it does," he said without taking his eyes off the guy.

"Her power is what we need," the guy said.

Lloyd's eyes narrowed. "Why?"

"Because once it gets into full form she doesn't have to touch anyone to change their emotions. My boss wants to use that power to make everyone run scared."

Now my eyes narrowed. "Why did you kill my parents?"

The guy looked at me and smirked. "Their fault for not telling us where you were."

I stiffened. But Nya punched the guy before I could. I ground my teeth. "Who is your boss?" I snarled. My anger was rising but I shoved it down. Stop, I told myself.

He smirked. "His name's Darker." Then all six of the guys vanished.

"Dammit," I growled.

Lloyd stood. "Are you okay?"

I looked at the ground. "Yeah." I turned and ran to my room and slammed the door. I was never going to get this guy! I breathed slowly and got dressed in normal clothes.

Lloyd was waiting outside my door. "Where are you going?" He asked.

"I need to cool off. So I'm going for a walk."

"Alora, maybe I should go with you."

I smiled. "No, thanks. I need to be alone for a little bit. I'll be back later." I walked passed him.
