Shameless author review here. In Sins, there is a pure overpowered MC In Evil Devourer, there is a pure villain MC In this novel, you will see a crazy MC who will do anything to reach his goal. This novel was edited it to fit my current style and fix the grammar. I have promised to return to this novel, and I did, I won't say anything much, but use this review section as Q&A!
Within the first nine chapters there's already something to anticipate as the story goes on further. The title is good and gives us an idea, and there is no problem with the quality of the writing. You can tell there's been some work put into this. It definitely isn't some masterpiece as i have my own problems with it, but it is indeed a good fulfilling read. And to top my review up, I'll leave this beautiful gif here.
Extraordinary! Ossan's quality keeps going up with each work. The very first chapter leaves you smack dab in the middle of a highly intriguing and suspenseful sequence and ends on a very hooking note. The follow-up chapters and the progression of the story then just sink you in with immersive writing and plot to keep you tied in, reading each paragraph is like sinking into the world of the story. I started reading and totally forgot that I was planning to review it too, it is just that good. Highly recommend, for people looking for the story of a lifetime and for the ones going for a light read, it will definitely check all your boxes. Can't wait for more!!
I am sad you stopped Evil Devourer for this, but it is also a good story. While it's not as fun as the Evil Devourer because of the serious and bleak atmosphere, the plot is enjoyable. John's struggle really paid off, but he's also pitiful as Atsuku. It brought me to want to cheer on him. Last note, I hope you write more Evil Devourer. Once a week is okay too...
A totally honest review from a friend. This is something I read a year ago, and I left a review for that one too. But this version is more refined and better! Recommended!
"Depraved hero" by This author is a captivating exploration of the interplay between fiction and reality. The protagonist, John, known as the Depraved Hero in his novel's world, faces a unique challenge as he navigates a crumbling fantasy universe and an unexpected return to Earth. Author's narrative prowess shines as he skillfully interweave John's dual existence, capturing his emotional journey and the tension of reconciling two vastly different worlds. The theme of identity and resilience resonates strongly throughout the story, drawing readers into John's quest for normalcy amidst the extraordinary. While the pacing occasionally falters, the character development remains a highlight. John's evolution into Fujiwara Atsuku adds depth, and the incorporation of Fantasia's trials into his earthly life adds an enthralling layer of intrigue. "Depraved hero" prompts reflection on the boundaries of reality and imagination, leaving readers pondering the threads that connect these realms. Author's work is a must-read for those who relish tales that blur the line between fantasy and the everyday, offering a unique and thought-provoking experience.
This novel is a true gem! The main character's moral compass exists in shades of gray, adding depth to the story. He's willing to do whatever it takes, even if it means killing and destruction, to achieve his goals. The writing is mostly smooth, with only minor hiccups that don't disrupt the flow. The plot follows the protagonist's struggle for survival against an impending catastrophe, weaving personal challenges into the bigger picture. Can't wait to see what happens next!
Finally finished reading this. First of all, Ossan's writing style in this novel is superb. I give 5 stars for this! The story and plot are magnificent. It's truly top-notch and I can tell that it's planned meticulously. However, what made me slightly disappointed is a little u know what scene. It seems that ossan planned only have 1 and be done with it. Still, I will stay for the story. Really recommended!
