Chapter Thirty-Four:You've Found Your Baby Daddy.

While Sasha was out to buy a pregnancy test for her, Marissa made good use of her time by trying to find her baby daddy.

Baby daddy?

Never in her life has she imagined that there would ever come a time, where she would call a man who wasn't her husband that, heck! She wasn't lucky when it comes to relationships to talk more about meeting this stranger to know how he's going to take this news of hers.

Just like she suspected earlier, what if he's married or engaged? Marissa wouldn't be able to bear the guilt of being the reason why two people in love would bring up, but at the same time if he truly loved his girl he wouldn't have slept with her that night right?

She was still thinking hard on finding this stranger, and making sure that he accepts this pregnancy, because there's no way she can do this alone. It was not about the expenses that came with raising a child, but this was about something else.

She was scared that she wouldn't be a better mother, her mother hasn't been the best and the fear of the unknown surrounding this child made her think the same. Also, she doesn't want to give birth to a kid out of wedlock so she's stuck in the middle of refusing that she was truly pregnant, and the part if she's pregnant how then would she give this baby a better life than the one she's living.

She closed her laptop in frustration, before bending her head down to cry. It was of no use trying to find someone who she doesn't even know his name, she's no detective.

When the door opened and she realized that Sasha was back, she wiped the tears at the corner of her eyes immediately because she wouldn't feel good seeing her cry.

Sasha would be a great aunt, she has already started talking to her about how she's going to shower the baby with love and whatnot, but what she doesn't even know is that she hasn't made a decision yet, on what to do with the baby.

Marissa was only keen on finding the baby daddy, and telling him about this, then if he's a douchebag who wouldn't spare her a glance or  try to think of the baby he put in her, then there's always the option of getting abortion, no!

The sick thought of doing that made Marissa's heart clench, she's not a murderer and doing that, she doesn't know if she would ever live through that guilt.

So, as of now she pushed everything behind her mind, and went for the pregnancy test that Sasha bought just to be sure that she's truly pregnant and not a stomach bug or something.

"I guess, you know how to use it." Sasha asked, trying to offer some assistance to her but she smiled, a forced one to assure her that she's okay, but she's not. Sasha can see through her facade.

She walked into the bathroom with the three pregnancy test stick, and did as instructed, washed her hands before coming out to place the stick on the table while they waited for the minutes to be up.

"So, I was thinking of assisting you to find the baby daddy." Sasha said, but Marisa shaked her head in return to her offer.

"No, I got this. I have to find him myself."

"But you are still far in doing that, you don't even know his name or where he lives."Sasha insisted and when Marissa tried to talk her out of those, she remembered the house where meet that grumpy housekeeper that had sent her leaving the moment she was awake.

Yeah!

She knew where he lived.

She sat up immediately, as a relieved sigh escaped her lips, while Sasha watched her with keen eyes." What's wrong?" She asked.

"I remembered where he lives, I remember." She said, cleaning the tears that were falling on its own.

"That's a thing of joy, babe, but why are you crying?" Sasha added, coming closer to where she was before she showed her the stick that confirmed that she's truly pregnant.

All three of the test sticks confirmed that she's pregnant, so that's skipping next to the important part about her keeping it or not, and meeting the baby daddy.

"What if he's married, Sasha. Would he even glance at me, or try to consider that.." she choked on her sob, before Sasha hugged her.

"One step at a time, Marissa. You can't stay here and overthink things without confirming first, which is what we are going to do." Sasha said, picking up her jacket from on top of the cushion.

"Lead the road." Sasha told her, as she cleaned her tears then smiled at her before they left her house to her car, as Marissa gave the location of where Giovanni lived.

Sasha's other hand covered hers while she sat in the car deep in thoughts, to assure her that everything was going to work out, but Sasha should have known what sort of an overthinker she was.

When they stopped at the familiar villa, Sasha took in their surroundings to see that Marissa got herself a rich baby daddy, whoever he was, there's no trying to deny the baby because he's got the money.

"Let's go." She mouthed to Marissa, who looked at herself in the mirror. She wasn't bothered about her appearance until now, she didn't want him to see that she was crying. He might use that weakness against her and try to frustrate her.

It's obvious, guys never really liked taking responsibilities for any girl they knocked up, especially when the girl was not among the social status.

They knocked on the gate for a good ten minutes,  no one came out, not even a guard nor the maid from earlier.

"I don't think anyone is in right now." Sasha said, moving aside to look at the villa again. It looked deserted.

"No, there has to be someone inside." Marissa refused to listen, and continued knocking, this time frustratingly that made Sasha to home her hand.

"Marissa, stop please." She begged.

"No one is in there, but we can come another time to…"Sasha said, but she shook her head.

"It's my fault, I was stupid. How i didn't think it through to get his name. What if he's a serial killer or worse."Marisa blabbered on, making Sasha burst out into laughter.

"Seriously, a serial killer and you didn't think about that earlier until now, Marissa please." She laughed.

"That's not funny." Marissa said, which made Sasha try to control herself.

"Seriously, you need to calm down girl, you would think this through."

"How?" Marissa snapped at her, she doesn't take this seriously because she's not the one pregnant, afterall she has her parents and siblings to look after her and her baby, but it's different with her.

Would her mother look her way now that she's pregnant?

That's a very big no, because she's going to be disappointed in her.

"I'm being real here, Marissa. We will figure things out." Sasha said, rubbing her shoulders until something clicked and Marissa remembered something from her last interaction with the housekeeper.

"Russo." Marissa said, looking up at Sasha." I remember the housekeeper saying something about him leaving when I woke up to find him gone. It was a Russo, I definitely heard her say that."

Sasha smiled,"you did it girl, you've found your baby daddy." She patted her shoulders, knowing the last name would make things  easier for her to find him.

"Can we go search him up?" Marissa said, walking to the car, While Sasha followed behind but not without having second thoughts on the name she gave her.

"It can't be…" she mumbled, trying not to get ahead of themselves. There's a lot of people going by that name, but only one family in Newyork was that powerful to make everyone fear that name.

"Sasha, are you coming?" Marissa called from inside the car, breaking her out  of her thoughts as she answered, but not without her wondering how on earth Marisa got herself involved with the family of Christopher, their family enemy.

Oh! Marissa, what have you done?
