Auralia is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor at her late father’s failing dojo. She’s one payment away from losing everything her father built, where her childhood memories live. 

So, when the chairman of Ezra Holdings wife, Maria Ezra, comes to Auralia with a proposal of being her son’s bodyguard, Auralia cannot help but agree to the proposal. In exchange for protecting her son, Alexander Ezra, for one year Auralia will not only get a six figure salary but she’ll also get the title deed to the dojo’s building, allowing her to save the dojo.

There is one problem however. Alexander can’t know that Auralia is his bodyguard. Thus Auralia has to marry the man, acting as his wife while secretly protecting him.

An arranged marriage is not something she wants and her husband-to-be makes matters worse when he hands her a contract with terms to which she has to follow in exchange for marrying him.

Will she be able to navigate the world of the rich as Alexander’s fake wife without the man discovering the real reason behind her marrying him? And can she keep any feelings from developing between the two?

The Bodyguard Wife

Auralia tried to stop herself from yawning as another wave of exhaustion hit her. She hadn't realized the party to celebrate her students' success at the tournament would last so long.

It probably didn't help that Alexander had told her students they were officially getting engaged tomorrow. Still, she didn't really regret staying up until 12am.

It had been a while since she had properly spent some time with her students. There was so much catching up to do, especially because some of her students were moving away for college soon.

Auralia sighed. Thankfully the engagement party only starts this afternoon. I have some time to relax before then.

"Auralia!!" A voice suddenly called out as the tea room door slammed open.

Auralia looked to see who was entering the room, only to find herself looking at a very excited Crystal. Guess that was out the window now. Auralia cringed inside as she felt her energy levels go down even further.
