Kevin wanted to buy some new clothes. So, he headed over to the Central Mall. Springfield is a place where many wealthy businesspeople live. He couldn't just walk in wearing his regular clothes.

He searched around and picked out a few outfits. He was just about to choose the last one when a saleswoman suddenly appeared behind him and said, "Excuse me, sir, that gentleman over there wants to try on this outfit." She snatched the suit from his hand.

Kevin was surprised by her behaviour. He knew he was wearing plain clothes, so the saleswoman likely assumed he couldn't afford the clothes. The old Kevin wouldn't have been able to buy such things but was still angry with the saleswoman's attitude. She was an employee, and he was a customer.

He selected another suit and went to the checkout counter. After a moment, the same saleswoman approached him and asked, "Sir, this gentleman is in a hurry. Could you please let him go?" Despite her smile, there was frustration in her tone.

That was the final straw for Kevin. He might not be rich, but neither was the saleswoman. So, why was she acting as if she owned the store?

"Miss, I also have important things to do," Kevin responded.

"Sir, this gentleman has an event to attend," she replied, showing her frustration.

"Miss, you're wasting time for both of us," Kevin said.

The wealthy man waiting behind Kevin was also getting irritated. Just as he was about to speak, Kevin pulled out his Black card and placed it in front of the cashier.

The cashier, the saleswoman, and the rich man were all shocked. A Citadel Bank Black Card?

"Miss, could you please hurry up?" Kevin pressed.

The cashier quickly took the card and started processing the bill. The saleswoman's face turned red with embarrassment and fear. The person before her had a Citadel Bank Black Card – he was a VIP. She had snatched clothes from his hand and treated him rudely. And if a VIP isn't satisfied, the salesperson might lose their job.

"Thank you for shopping with us," the cashier said nervously.

Kevin took his shopping bag and card and then left the store.

Kevin was strolling down the street, heading home. At a pawn shop, he noticed Alex, the landlady's son, trying to sell his family heirloom.

Ring... Ring...

"Hello Max," Kevin answered.

"Hey Kevin, where have you been? You haven't returned to house for two days," Max asked.

"I had some important things to take care of. I'm on my way back now," Kevin replied.

"Hey, do you know that Alex lost a bet to Leo? Leo forced him to give all his savings," Max shared.

"I just saw Alex selling his family heirloom," Kevin added.

"Oh….. if the boss lady finds out, she'll be really mad at him. Alright, I need to go out now," Max said.

"Okay, bye then," Kevin ended the call.

Kevin remembered that Mrs. Johnson wanted to talk to him, but he didn't return to his house for two days. He was pondering about how his life changed so quickly in only two days.

Kevin let out a sigh and kept on walking.
