Returning In The Sect Again.

In the distant depths of the Western Continent, a mountain exuded a dark purple-red miasma, flowing like a smoky stream from its cracks. The mountain was majestic, yet its appearance seemed almost unreal.

From the miasma's rift emerged a feminine voice. "How many years has it been?" she mused aloud.

For a brief moment, everything stood still before...

BSSSSSHHHHHHHTTTTT!!!

The miasma surged uncontrollably, bursting forth.

--

"Finally... back home?" Alex looked down, his eyes resting on the tranquil sect before him. Though he hadn't been long in the Western Continent, he could see noticeable changes in the once familiar landscape.

Increased security measures were evident, with armed cultivators patrolling, providing protection. It was clear they were guarding the sect.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

An array activated.

BZZZSSSHHT!!!

BZZZSSSHHT!!!

BZZZSSSHHT!!!

Sword-like beams of light streaked towards the ship, but they vanished a moment later. From the cabin's open door, Alex spotted Old Chang displaying his badge to the sword-like lights.

Alex guided the ship to the shipyard.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

A formidable aura swept over the ship, crushing it with immense pressure. Alex couldn't sense it directly, but he could witness the ship's visible deformation under the intense aura's weight. The ship began to crack, sending shockwaves through him.

"CHAAANG!!!" A furious roar echoed through the plaza where the ship landed.

A figure draped in red robes stood there, red hair billowing as red light emanated from his eyes.

"Easy, easy, I'm coming out now... no need to get so riled up, Sect Master Lin," Old Chang said with a smile as he descended.

Alex hurriedly rushed out of the cabin, only to find Chang Li unconscious on the ground. He understood that the overwhelming aura had rendered him unconscious.

BANG!!!

A surge of light shot out from outside.

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING, YOU IDIOT!!!" Sect Master Lin's voice thundered.

"I was trying to—" Old Chang began, but his voice trailed off as Sect Master Lin's fist was held back. Though weak and feeble, the punch held immeasurable power, enough to shatter the face of even a Quasi-Ascendant like Old Chang. "(Death Reaper Crimson... truly monstrous,)" Old Chang mused, recognizing the Sect Master's prowess. he knew He would be no match for the Sect Master Lin even if he was at full power. he was quite shocked about this well.

Alex was equally astonished. From the ship's deck, he observed the scene, recognizing Sect Master Lin and the other elders. While they likely sensed him, he wasn't significant enough to garner their direct attention.

"I understand, Sect Master Lin. I'll accept any punishment—" Old Chang's words were interrupted by a swift punch to his head. He heard the voice of Lin.

"HOW DARE YOU GO FIGHT THOSE BASTARDS FROM CELESTIAL HEAVEN SECT WITHOUT US!!! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH I WANT TO DESTROY YUAN'S FACE?" Sect Master Lin's fiery temper was evident as he unleashed his frustration. he said this.

Amidst the exchange, a red aura shrouded the figure of Sect Master Lin, his hair flowing upwards and his eyes blazing.

"Alright, alright, alright. I'll tell you all about it," Old Chang replied with a hint of tears, touched by the camaraderie he shared with the sect. To him, they weren't just demonic sects—they were his heavenly companions.

Alex too was moved, recognizing the genuine bond Old Chang had with this group, even though they were labeled as demonic sects. He realized that they were much more than their reputation.

"Oh, and there's more. I've also found a remarkable young talent," Old Chang announced, turning attention to Alex.

"He's named Chang Li. He reached the Soul Awakening Realm at the age of 25," Old Chang beamed, proud of his discovery.

Alex's heart warmed. Despite his commitment to the Heavenly Door Star, Old Chang had maintained his respect for Alex's boundaries.

"It's fine, Elder Chang. You can tell them about me too," Alex telepathically conveyed to Old Chang. He was ready for the sect to know about his true identity.

Old Chang was taken aback. "Are you sure?" he asked in disbelief.

"Yes," Alex confirmed with a nod.

"YES? This is incredible! Show me, quick!" Sect Master Lin's eyes gleamed with excitement as he looked at Chang Li, still unconscious on Alex's shoulder.

"Hahaha!" Old Chang chuckled, almost revealing Alex's identity.

"It's not just that... there's another one who reached—" Old Chang began, but Alex sent him a message, urging him to be discreet.

"Reached what?" Sect Master Lin inquired, tilting his head in curiosity.

"Reached the Soul Ascension Realm(3 Ascensions), Grand Elder Chang," Alex informed Old Chang, subtly signaling that his true cultivation should remain concealed.

"WHAT???!!!" Old Chang's eyes widened.

"WHAT???!!" echoed through the assembly of elders.

Old Chang regarded Alex with awe. "He... he's at the Soul Ascension Realm(3 Ascensions), and he's only 30 years old," Old Chang announced.

A stunned silence enveloped the area.

"WHHHHHHAAAATTTT???!! WHAAAT???!!" Every elder present exclaimed, their shock evident.

"You said he reached the Soul Ascension Realm(3 Ascensions) at 30 years old?" Sect Master Lin repeated, seeking confirmation.

Sect Master Lin's gaze shifted to Alex, and all the elders followed suit.

"Hey," Alex waved his hand in response.

BANG!!!

Before he could say anything, Sect Master Lin appeared right in front of him. He placed his hand on Alex's, probing his cultivation.

A strange sensation enveloped Alex as his energy seemed

to be scrutinized. He sensed the energy moving within him, as if it were being redirected toward his dantian or whatever it was called. Not being well-versed in the terminology, he simply let it unfold. He intended to exhibit his strength, but he also held back, aware of the need to conceal his true power. Gazing at Sect Master Lin, Alex was about to explain the reason behind the concealed strength, but his words were halted by Sect Master Lin's voice.

"It's true... he's at the Soul Ascension Realm..." Sect Master Lin declared, his voice wavering with disbelief. Stepping back, he processed the revelation.
