Fengying.

"Inconceivable," Sect Master Lin remarked, still in shock. He was the one who understood the significance of this accomplishment the most.

"Um, Sect Master Lin, are you alright?" Alex inquired, concerned for Sect Master Lin's reaction. He was about to ask if Sect Master Lin needed assistance, but he was cut off.

"Do you want to be my disciple?" Sect Master Lin looked at Alex, his words resonating in the air.

Alex was taken aback by the unexpected proposition.

"HEY, THAT'S NOT FAIR, SECT MASTER LIN!"

"YOU ALREADY HAVE THE MOST TALENTED DISCIPLE, LEAVE ONE FOR US!"

"YES! NOT FAIR!"

The elders chimed in, protesting Sect Master Lin's offer.

"Silence!" Sect Master Lin bellowed, silencing the protests as he focused on Alex and smiled.

Alex was torn. He wanted to be a disciple of Old Chang, but...

When he looked at Old Chang, the latter smiled and telepathically communicated, "I'm delighted that you'd want to be my disciple, but your talent exceeds what I can offer. Sect Master Lin is the strongest in our sect and will make an excellent master for you. While I won't be your master, I'll do my best to teach Chang Li whatever I can."

Alex was stunned by Old Chang's humility and self-awareness. He had underestimated the strength of Sect Master Lin in the sect.

"I accept, Master," Alex said with a bow, acknowledging Sect Master Lin as his master.

"Wonderful! We'll have a grand banquet to celebrate this!" Sect Master Lin's eyes gleamed with excitement, his joy infectious.

"Yes, a banquet sounds excellent," Elder Fang concurred, joining in the enthusiasm for the celebration.

Alex's smile radiated his happiness.

"Retrieve your belongings from the inner sect mountains. We're heading to the core mountain right away. That's where you'll reside from now on. Keep in mind, there are other core disciples residing in the inner safe mountains, so you might have to contend with them. But I'm confident your strength won't be an issue," Sect Master Lin explained, outlining Alex's path.

With a nod and a grin, Alex prepared himself. He had played his cards right by revealing his strength, leading to an increased supply of resources and opponents to challenge for greater lifespan and strength. He was more determined than ever to ascend to Earth, his final destination unchanged despite the newfound opportunity. he was alwats determined to go to Earth, even if he had to leave his friends behind he had to go to Earth to meet his family, Alex had this one goal and he would follow it even if he ascended to another world, he knew there was not many places he could learn about different worlds and space and traveling, he was looking forward to that world he would ascend, he thought as it was another world and presumebly more powerful world it would have more information about worlds. he thought this, one of thr reasons why he decided to ascend to another world, this was his reason and he was not going to change it no matter what. Earth was his final destination and this place would be reached.

--

Three hours later, Alex ascended the mountainside.

Surveying his surroundings, he recognized familiar bushes bearing fruit and berries. He glanced downward, spotting the city where he had frequented for supplies. It would be his last visit there, as he was now headed to a larger, more prosperous city at the core mountain. Before leaving, he decided to take one last look around and purchase some items.

Upon reaching the mountain, he gazed at the familiar house where he had resided for a time.

"It's still as beautiful as ever. Did Fengying take care of the mountain?" Alex admired the blooming flowers around his house. He hadn't left them behind, yet they now adorned the landscape.

Entering the house, he noticed that it was surprisingly tidy and well-maintained. He had not left it in such pristine condition.

Turning on the lights suspended from the ceiling, he inspected each room. They were all remarkably clean. His curiosity piqued, he headed to the main room, only to hear an unexpected noise from behind.

"TEACHEEERRRR! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" A voice shouted, and Fengying leaped onto him from behind.

Amused by her exuberance, Alex chuckled. "Haha, I'm alright. Calm down!"

Fengying was beside herself with excitement. "No! When you disappeared, I thought you were gone forever. Where were you?"

"Alright, alright, come down, and I'll tell you." Alex gently persuaded her to let go.

Fengying complied, her curiosity piqued.

--

Three hours later, Alex finished explaining everything to Fengying.

Sitting on the couch, he recounted his experiences on another continent to her.

"That's... so dangerous," Fengying marveled, finding it hard to believe the level of danger Alex had faced—from battles with elders to monsters and beasts. It was perilous beyond imagination, and she realized she would not have survived such trials. she would have to rely on Alex in every danger, she was now happy that she was left out when the disciples disappeared, Fengying didn't want to become a burden to Alex, she wanted to help him no matter what...

"Alright then, here's the good news. I've become a disciple of Sect Master Lin. From now on, I'll be living at the Core Mountain of our sect," Alex revealed.

"Are you leaving me behind?" Fengying's expression soured as she sulked.

"Haha, no need to worry. As my servant, you'll also be able to live at the Core Mountain. But first, let's pack up the bed and visit a store to express our gratitude," Alex said, glancing around the room. He proceeded to gather his things and head to the store.

Fengying nodded in agreement.

--

Emerging from the house, Alex carried the bed in his hands. He stored it away in his storage ring before glancing around. He felt a surge of pride and accomplishment, having achieved so much in a mere three years. Approaching Fengying, he spoke with pride.

"Shall we, Fengying? A new chapter begins for us."

End Of Chapter.
