Tale Of Shame.

"A Long time ago when our first Ancestor was still alive, Ancestor Carnage, he was an extremely powerful being that could dominate the entire world. His power was so immense that he could stand against Ascendants while still being a normal Mortal Being as a Quasi-Ascendant. But..." Sect Master Lin paused, setting the stage for a tale shrouded in mystery.

"Despite his strength, his personality was very laid back. He was cheerful and loved nature, always helping mortals. We don't know much about his background, but there's a theory that Ancestor Carnage might have come from a Mortal Bloodline and used his talent to rise against the odds," Sect Master Lin began explaining.

"After the war with the Devils and the sealing of the Demonic Empress Evil, he returned to the sect and established our current one. However, there was a problem. He was too powerful, so strong that no other sect in the world could rival ours. This was unacceptable to many other sects. They despised the idea of one sect being recognized as the strongest, as it would implicitly mean admitting their own inferiority," Sect Master Lin explained, his tone tinged with frustration.

"The resentment against our sect grew stronger. They despised us for being so powerful but couldn't challenge our Ancestor or the foundations he had built. Moreover, our Ancestor's son had extraordinary talent, perhaps even surpassing anyone within the sect. That's when things took a dark turn," Sect Master Lin continued, his expression becoming grave.

"They didn't dare to kidnap his son, did they?" Alex speculated.

Sect Master Lin chuckled softly, dispelling the notion. "Haha, no, nobody would have dared to do that. What happened was far worse. His son was humble and unassuming, much like his father. He disliked fighting and only resorted to it when necessary. Unfortunately, this trait became his Achilles' heel."

"Go on," Alex urged, eager to unravel the story.

"He fell in love with someone, the daughter of a prominent sect at the time. They fell deeply in love, but he hesitated to express his feelings due to his caring nature. He feared burdening her with the hatred directed at his sect and his family. He didn't want her to become a target of his enemies. Although he possessed wisdom, emotions can be treacherous," Sect Master Lin recounted.

"But, the daughter reciprocated his feelings," Alex interjected, recognizing the direction the story was taking.

"Yes, the daughter of that powerful Sect Master fell in love with him. Despite his attempts to shield her from the complexities of his life, love found its way between them. Their affection for each other grew stronger, and naturally, their relationship was noticed," Sect Master Lin confirmed.

"Because of our Ancestor's vigilance, not many opportunities arose for other sects to exploit their relationship. Nevertheless, as time went on, their love deepened. Unfortunately, the day of their wedding marked the beginning of a tragedy," Sect Master Lin said with a heavy sigh.

"The daughter disappeared suddenly, leaving our Ancestor's son devastated. Despite his strength and resilience, he couldn't find any trace of her. He searched tirelessly, visiting countless places, sects, villages, and cities. Even prisons weren't exempt from his search. However, after years of relentless pursuit, he was still unable to locate her. He even used divination to determine her fate, but nothing could provide him with an answer," Sect Master Lin continued.

"His heartbreak must have been unbearable," Alex remarked, empathizing with the pain of unrequited love.

"Yes, his heartbreak was immense. He journeyed far and wide, facing trials and tribulations in his quest to reunite with his beloved. Despite the challenges, he remained resolute. Unfortunately, he was lured into a trap by the Sect Master of the Red Fox Sect, who deceived him into believing he had found his love again. The aftermath of that deception led him to a state of even deeper despair," Sect Master Lin narrated.

"Many sects attempted to manipulate his emotions further, using his vulnerability against him. They were frustrated by his unbreakable resolve. Finally, one sect conjured an illusion of his beloved and cruelly killed it in front of him. That was the moment he finally shattered. His Beast Heart was broken, and he lost the martial arts talents he had cultivated over the years," Sect Master Lin disclosed.

"His mental and emotional fortitude was truly exceptional," Alex commented, awed by the strength the son had demonstrated.

"Indeed, his strength was admirable, but his spirit was broken. After that incident, you can probably guess what happened. Our Ancestor was furious, and war became inevitable. The surviving Sect Masters plotted to confront him, and they set a trap. He returned to the sect and faced the trap head-on. Despite the odds, his strength enabled him to defeat nearly everyone, but then he vanished," Sect Master Lin concluded.

"He disappeared just like that?" Alex questioned, intrigued by the sudden turn of events.

"Yes, the strongest being in the world simply vanished without a trace. The surviving Sect Masters, some of whom possessed techniques that allowed them to resurrect themselves, foresaw the impending chaos and sent their spirits into the future, an unknown future. And now, that future is our present," Sect Master Lin finished, his gaze fixed on the horizon. "This is the shame that our world has faced, they forced talented members of our world destryoed, the strongest being in our world to suddenly vanish, cowardly went to our timeline as they feared our Ancestor's retaliation, they were the shame of our world... that is why this tale is only passed down to Sect Masters, as to warn them not to became like that ever in their times... but human nature is mysterious." Sect Master Lin's expression was a mixture of sorrow, frustration, and determination as he recounted the unfortunate events of the past. he looked at the horizon and recollected tail.

Alex took a moment to absorb the weight of the story before his expression suddenly shifted. "What the hell did I just hear?" Alex exclaimed, his disbelief evident in his voice.
