Wuzhao.

Alex descended from his assault on the dragons, pouring his pent-up anger and immense power into the blows that struck the three beleaguered dragons. He had spent a considerable amount of his lifespan to defeat these enigmatic foes, and his thirst for vengeance burned hot, regardless of his lack of knowledge about their identity.

"Dammit!" The dragons struggled to regain their footing within the confined space, feeling the relentless pressure bearing down upon them from all sides.

"Perish!" Alex's thunderous cry resounded as he materialized next to their tails, delivering devastating punches that led to fiery explosions.

"GGGAAAGHHGG" The dragons wailed, their three voices in painful unison. Not only did they endure the physical agony inflicted by Alex's onslaught, but their minds also suffered the effects of his potent spells. They teetered on the brink of detonation.

"DAMN YOUUUUU!!!!" The dragons fought fiercely, but Alex systematically dismantled their formidable defenses, methodically breaking down their bodies.

The entire moon quaked, yet even under Alex's titanic power, it held firm.

"It's time," Alex declared, ascending into the heavens.

"[Space Shatter Fist (3 Shatter)]," he intoned, and the world fell silent...

The punch, though seemingly slow, bore a devastating impact, not distorting space but shattering it.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

The moon quaked, cracks spiderwebbing across its surface.

"Ah fuck, I had hoped for Lifespan, but this will do," Alex commented, glancing at the dragon's remains below. He descended to assume its form, recognizing its value.

"I wonder what happens when one of the ink drawings is damaged fully... well, I guess this happens," he noted as he watched the moon self-repair, with displaced rocks swiftly returning to restore it.

"Well, it's recuperating. Show me the stats," Alex said, directing his attention upwards.

"Ugh... upgrading costs so much Lifespan. Everything becomes more expensive as I level up," Alex lamented.

He turned his gaze to the barrier and headed towards it.

"Wake up, Botoz... we need to go in," Alex roused his companion.

'Booo???' Botoz appeared feeble but obediently complied.

BZZSSSTTT!!!

Botoz merged with Alex's hand, empowering him.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

Alex unleashed a mighty punch, shattering the barrier once again, granting him access.

He entered.

On the other side of the world, in Wuzhao:

"The meeting has commenced," a gruff voice reverberated throughout a vast chamber that resembled an ancient Roman structure.

Inside, a grand table surrounded by thirteen chairs awaited its occupants.

"People, let us address the purpose of today's meeting," a burly, armored man declared, his gaze scanning those seated at the table.

"Yes, we have lost contact with the dragons. They crossed the barrier in search of the Phoenix Feather but disappeared just days ago," a slender mustached man reported before taking his seat.

"Dragons?"

"Those weaklings?"

"Why should we even care?"

The assembled individuals began discussing the dragons.

"Silence!!!" an elderly man at the table commanded.

"While the beasts may have been the weakest among us, their combined strength could rival many of you," he asserted calmly.

"You're correct, old man, but their transformation had a fatal flaw if they ever tried to fight us," a man in a straw hat chimed in, a piece of grass dangling from his mouth as he resembled a samurai.

"Greatmaster Wushuang, I suggest you utilize your foresight. We don't want any unpredictable elements in our plans," a Kind looking elder advised a nearby elderly woman. Woman was maybe the weirdest person here, she had a armor on her back a cane but for some reason she didn't look any older than 80. But if you looked at her hands you would think she was more than 100 years old, she looked at the person who asked her this and looked back once agaib, she looked to see everyone looking at her, she sighed and talked with.

"My divination requires approval, it can't be forced," she began to explain before being rudely interrupted.

"Quiet, you old witch! You've taken countless lives without ever being caught off guard by even the cleverest individuals. Do you honestly expect me to believe in your approval nonsense?" a young girl in a pink dress rebuked her with visible disdain.

"Do you wish to fight, Shenlong?" Wushuang inquired, standing up.

"I'll take you on," Shenlong replied, rising to the challenge.

"Now, let's not fight amongst ourselves, ladies," a scrawny young man rose and interjected.

"Don't meddle in this, Zhaoyun, you wretch," both Shenlong and Wushuang snapped at him.

"What did you call me?" Zhaoyun unsheathed his sword.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

A muscular man released his aura, promptly quelling their dispute.

"We've lost three important members, and instead of determining how it happened, you squabble amongst yourselves?" the muscular man reprimanded. His aura subdued those present.

"Perhaps we need to lose another three," he continued, raising his hand. Three individuals sat down instantly. "Wushuang, perform your divination." He nodded, and Wushuang reluctantly set up a circular device with a glass dome.

She initiated the divination process.

"BZZZZSSSSSTTTTT!!!"

Holographic projections filled the room. Wushuang manipulated several holograms, and then...

"BZZZSSSSSTTTT!!!"

Like a scanner, it analyzed the room fast.

"Bzzzasttt!!!"

"Bzzzasttt!!!"

A screen displayed the results.

"WHAT" Every person in the room stood up.

Back at the manuals room, Alex, appearing fatigued, contemplated the pile of manuals before him.

"Teacher seems really angry. He didn't even give me time to rest before tossing me in here," he mused. Alex turned his attention to the manuals, determined to begin his practice.

"Yes, it's better to delve into these now."

End Of Chapter.
