Space Element History.

Alex was engrossed in his room, poring over a history of Spacetime powers. He had already absorbed all the techniques Master had taught him, even those he deemed impractical and unlikely to be used. His focus now was on preparing for the upcoming tournament, which Sect Master Lin had compelled him to participate in. But before that, Alex had a personal goal to pursue - the study of space and different worlds.

Ever since becoming a Core Member of the sect, he had harbored a keen interest in space exploration. Yet, information came at a steep price. To gain knowledge about space travel, he would need to accumulate millions of contribution points, assuming he had a Space Element, which he didn't possess.

As he delved deeper into his research, he made some intriguing discoveries. Elements, he learned, were categorized into five levels: Common, Uncommon, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical. Power Element, however, did not belong to any of these levels. Alex also came across information about the Time Element, classified as a Peak Legendary Element. Those born with this Element were destined to awaken extraordinary abilities.

Alex spotted the Wood Element in the Epic Levels and the Blood Element in the highest tier of the Epic Levels, bordering on the Legendary Level. He marveled at Sect Master Lin's impressive strength, considering his reliance on an Epic Element, which typically had a ceiling at the Low Overlord level.

"So, Space Element is in the Mythical Level... but why? Time Element seems more powerful, yet it's a level lower," Alex pondered aloud as he perused the information about Space Elements. In recorded history, only three individuals possessed the Space Element. One lived during the Disappearance Era 15,000 years ago, another during the era of Immortal conflicts 8,000 years ago, and the last during the Demonic Era 3,000 years ago. These individuals had either vanished or left scant information behind.

"Yeah, they probably used their powers to travel to other worlds or dimensions and never returned," Alex surmised, though he wasn't entirely sure of his deduction.

"From what I can gather, most people without Space Element can perform actions like Blink, similar to what Fengying has learned. They can also create formations for fast travel, but that seems to be the extent of their abilities," Alex concluded, shaking his head in disbelief.

He recalled the formation that had transported them to the Western Continent. Previously, he had assumed it was a form of Blink, but now he realized it was merely a means of fast travel—a disappointment.

"Looks like I'll need the Space Element if I want to do more," Alex sighed, acknowledging the limitations he faced.

Alex's attention was drawn to Botoz, who was playing nearby on the table. He had chosen Botoz as his companion and had grown quite attached to the little cloud-like creature, but he still lacked the power to manipulate space.

'Boo?' Botoz glanced at him, then twisted its cloud-like form, floating toward the air in front of Alex.

'BOOOOOOOO!!!' Botoz performed an action that left Alex bewildered.

BZZSSSTTTT!!!

A stable crack appeared before his eyes.

"What in the world..." Alex stared at the crack in awe. It remained stable, not dissipating like typical spatial anomalies.

Before he could reach out to investigate further, the crack suddenly collapsed.

'Boooo...' Botoz descended, appearing exhausted.

"Hah... HAHAHAHAHAHA. HAHAHAHAHAHA. You're amazing, little guy!!!" Alex exclaimed, picking up Botoz and playfully tossing him up and down. He was overjoyed by this newfound revelation. Botoz possessed the ability to open stable portals.

"How did you do that, Botoz?" Alex inquired, but Botoz couldn't articulate the details, so it simply settled into Alex's hand.

"Alright, go get some rest," Alex said, recognizing Botoz's fatigue. He knew that the Power Element had immense growth potential, and he was committed to nurturing Botoz to harness that power.

After Botoz had settled down for a nap, Alex reached into his pouch and retrieved a peculiar blue pill.

"I've never tried any pills here. Let's see how it tastes," Alex remarked before tossing the pill into his mouth.

Bzssstttt!!!

The pill dissolved, releasing a unique taste that Alex found surprisingly enjoyable. Although he didn't notice any immediate changes in his body, he continued to consume the pills like delectable snacks.

-- [Congratulations!!! You Have Consumed the Divine Phoenix Pill

+1 % Bloodline]

-- [A Breakpoint has been detected in the Host's Bloodline. The power has been stored before the Host Gains a bloodline suitable for accumulation of it. Required Bloodline: Divine Phoenix Bloodline]

Alex's eyes widened as he read this message. He already had 100% in both of his bloodlines, and he sighed in frustration at the revelation.

"Man, why did I get the Phoenix Bloodline? It's useless quite," Alex muttered, disappointed.

He returned his attention to the books, resuming his research on the Space Element. To overcome Botoz's limitations, he realized he needed to either acquire the Space Element or wait for Botoz to grow stronger.

--

Three hours later, Alex had delved deeper into his research. Frustration mounted as he learned about the rarity and elusiveness of the Space Element. He was faced with a difficult choice—wait for Botoz to mature or seek out the Space Element, which could prove exceedingly challenging.

"Yeah, I'll need either the Space Element or patience," Alex mused, looking out at the night sky.

As he gazed at the moon, he noticed something peculiar. It appeared unusually bright. In this region, the full moon was always radiant, but tonight it seemed exceptionally luminous.

"Hmm?" Alex squinted at the moon, observing it closely. It was brighter than usual. He considered going up to the moon's surface as he had done in the past but decided to consult Sect Master Lin first.

--

In the Sect Master's building:

"They're beginning, aren't they?" Sect Master Lin stood near a window, his gaze fixed on the sky.

"Master!!!" Alex's voice called out from the entrance.

"Master, I just noticed something strange about the moon. It's..." Alex started but halted as he noticed Sect Master Lin also staring at the moon.

"Times of war are approaching, Zhi Li..." Sect Master Lin spoke with a sense of gravity.

"What times, war? Again?" Alex inquired surprised very much.

"I'll explain after the tournament. Prepare yourself, Zhi Li. This upcoming conflict will be far more challenging than any war we've faced before. Strength will be crucial to survive these turbulent times of war."

End Of Chapter.
