Fight.

"Who was that Lunatic?" Fengying asked, her fear palpable. She watched the invader's every move but remained frozen, her fear holding her in place. She knew the importance of battle experience, and Alex had done everything to guide her. Despite her near-death experiences, she had faith that Alex would save her, keeping her from unlocking her true potential.

"Some idiot, you don't need to worry. Are you okay, Junior Brother Chang?" Alex went to help Chang Li, understanding his cowardly nature and sighed in resignation. Chang Li was who he was, and Alex couldn't change that. He tried to teach Chang Li many things, and one of them were that he was really strong. Strong enough to be considered one of the stromgest here but for sone reason he could not get that Odea, he felt he was very weak and needed to train more, he showed Chang Li and told him that even he felt Danger from his sword but he didn't listen and continued to train but training would not be enough for him to gain courage, he needed to go fight, but Chang Li was different and he never went out without him.

"Yes... sorry, I am useless," Chang Li admitted, helping himself up.

"No, just inexperienced... let's finish this useless tournament now," Alex said, glancing at the arena. With a single motion, he repaired the room and took a seat. He had lost his desire to sleep thanks to the troublemaker.

---

Outside the arena, Elder Yue Qi confronted Young Master Yue. "Young Master Yue, why did you do this? We were so close to revealing our identities... was that him—"

"Yes... one of the Chosen Few," Yue Qi replied, looking at his sword. He was puzzled about how Alex had managed to injure him with just a glance, but he dismissed the thought as beyond their understanding.

"I see. We need to change our appearances as we almost exp—"

"Yes, you already did it," a mysterious voice interrupted them.

Elder sensed a formidable presence behind them and shielded Yue Qi. A cheeky voice spoke again, "It's impressive how you people managed to infiltrate the sect even after I put every single formation in one place... But... that was not enough."

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

A crimson aura enveloped everyone.

---

As the tournament continued, Alex watched the fights but found it hard to stay engaged. "NEXT, WE HAVE TAN MING VS. JIANG CHENG!!!" the announcer declared.

In the arena, Tan Ming appeared nonchalant as he faced Jiang Cheng. Tan Ming felt a sense of urgency; Jiang Cheng was not part of his plan, and he couldn't afford to waste time. He wanted to finoah this battle Already, he knew this person and cursed his luck, this person was one of the people that were Lunatics about their physical strength, before you get past their bodies defences you would be already tired so you would not be able to do anything at all, This was one of the annoying things about fighting people like this, they were just too annoying and time consuming to deal with, But he was not scared, he knew his power and someone like this wouldn't scare him at all, Tan Ming got in the stance to fight.

BANG!!!

They exchanged rapid punches.

---

"Wow," Alex muttered, sensing something unique about Tan Ming's power. Fengying was also intrigued by what she saw in the arena.

"This is fascinating. It seems I need to explore the powers of all the disciples in the Sect. They're hiding some impressive abilities," Alex remarked.

---

"Gahhh... Gahhh... Gahhh... Looks like your fame is not undeserved... Harbinger," Jiang Cheng admitted before falling to the ground. The crowd cheered for the fight.

"WINNER!!! TAN MING!!!" the announcer declared.

Tan Ming surveyed the arena and nodded. He had only a few bruises; he was healthy and strong.

"NEXT—" the announcer began to speak but was interrupted by Tan Ming.

"I want to challenge Zhi Li to the fight," Tan Ming boldly declared, surprising everyone.

"Huh? But there are no chall—"

BANG!!!

Alex leaped into the arena. "I accept the challenge, Disciple," he said with a smile.

"Well..." The announcer was surprised and looked beyond the arena.

Sect Master Lin smiled and granted permission. "Then... I announce the fight right now started!!!" he proclaimed.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

Tan Ming immediately attacked, but Alex was prepared.

"You are quite famous in the core disciple circle, Zhi Li," Tan Ming remarked with a smile, provoking Alex.

"I've never heard about you, though," Alex responded, trading punches with Tan Ming.

BANG!!!

"AGH..." Tan Ming felt the impact of Alex's punch.

"Don't tell me you challenged me with this..." Alex taunted, surprising Chang Li, who knew Alex disliked small talk in battle.

"You..." Unexpectedly, Tan Ming remained calm. He drew his sword, a white blade, and took a stance.

"Oh, you're a swordsman. That's fascinating. I've never felt such power from a sword. VERY GOOD, LET'S SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO," Alex said with excitement.

BANG!!!

Alex closed the gap and punched at Tan Ming.

"[Pristine Light Slash]," Tan Ming said calmly, aiming his slow but powerful attack at Alex.

SLASH!!!

The white slash, though slow, cut through light itself. Alex knew what this was, he was really expectant just because of this, He felt what kind og strength this person had and he felt something very interesting from him as well, something that needed his investigation, And now he saw this attack, Alex knew without that no Being Except For Overlords would be able to do this and he basically confirmed his suspicions about that, Now he just needed to find out what kind the thing was this, Alex knew he could not dodge but he still tried to make sure he was correct, and he was completely correct.

"SHIT!!!" Alex exclaimed as the slash connected, leaving a gash on his chest.

"What the heck..." onlookers were bewildered, but Alex stood there, smiling, and remarked, "A special constitution, eh?"
