Encounter.

The arena buzzed with confusion and shock after Alex's swift victory over Ji Ning.

"WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!"

"I DON'T KNOW!!!"

"HOW?!"

The spectators were in disbelief, unable to comprehend the rapid and unexpected outcome of the match. Ji Ning, a top-ten Inner Rankings disciple, had been defeated in an instant. However, the majority of onlookers were unaware of who Alex was, adding to the bewilderment.

Returning to his seat after the brief fight, Alex couldn't help but express his hope that the tournament would unfold without any significant incidents. His previous experiences in the sect's tournaments had left him dreading the potential chaos.

"That was fast, you know?" Chang Li remarked after witnessing Alex's victory.

Alex replied nonchalantly, "Yeah, I guess," before returning to his much-needed slumber. The sleep-deprived cultivator needed all the rest he could get after weeks of intense study and training.

As the tournament continued, Chang Li also secured victories with ease. His unique ability to cut things without using visible power made him a formidable opponent. Meanwhile, the Core Disciples watched in astonishment as their usual contenders struggled to maintain their standing.

"Who are they." One of the Core Disciples said this as they looked at a feminine man who stood in front of the table while having his eyes closed.

"Looks like Sect Had some dark horses that we had no idea of." He said this while having a smile.

"Tan Ming, when you saw the fight that Zhi Li had commenced, did you feel some kind of threat from him?" A Female Cultivator asked the feminine man.

"No not at all, i will be able to crush him very easily, but i did feel some kind Of Danger from that Chang Li." Tan Ming said this, and he was really surprised at his statement as well, he was supposed to be the strongest in the Sect but for some reason, these people came out and ruined his star, and he was mad about that.

"I see, then get ready to fight." Female Cultivator said this.

However, the Core Disciples, particularly those allied with Tan Ming, the sect's supposed strongest disciple, remained determined to regain their glory. They were aware of the potential threat posed by Alex and Chang Li, who had disrupted their anticipated dominance.

Inside their private VIP seating area, Alex lay asleep, seemingly lost in a peculiar dream.

"I wonder what he dreams about," Fengying mused, her fingers gently stroking Alex's head.

"Probably baths... he loves baths," Chang Li replied, chuckling. He had observed Alex's peculiar fascination with bathing despite being capable of cleansing himself with energy.

Suddenly, a series of knocks sounded at the door to their VIP seats. Chang Li volunteered to answer it and opened the door. However, before he could react, a devastating sword strike came swiftly and silently. Chang Li's front was slashed entirely, and the lethal blade continued toward Alex.

Fengying gasped, her heart racing at the unexpected attack, but Alex reacted with unparalleled speed.

BANG!!!

In a split second, Alex caught Chang Li and obliterated the invisible blade with a single hand, preventing any harm from befalling his friend.

"Who the fuck are you?" Alex demanded, his anger evident. The intrusion had disrupted his sleep and endangered his friend.

"Fascinating you know, i do not know how your cat--- AGHHGHGHGHHHHGHGH!!!" Whoever came from that door fell immediately, he looked at his body to see almost every single place he was slashed by something he could not see, this happened in milliseconds.

The, who had been incapacitated by Alex's swift response, attempted to regain his composure.

"Cough... Cough... Cough... Such violence..." he managed to utter.

As the dust settled, the identity of the intruder became clear—a man clad in dark robes and wielding a reddish sword with a beautiful saya.

"My name is Yue Qi. People call me Moonlight Apocalyptic Swordsman," he introduced himself, although he still appeared to be recovering from the earlier confrontation.

Alex's response was blunt and to the point. "Okay, Moonlight Apocalyptic Swordsman, that's quite a mouthful. I'll just call you Dumbass. So, why did you decide to attack someone in the VIP seating while blatantly releasing your aura? You do realize that there are probably a hundred elders on their way here right now."

Indeed, as Alex had predicted, a multitude of elders promptly teleported into the room. One of the older elders addressed Alex.

"We received reports of an unusual energy release in this vicinity, Sir Zhi Li. Can you explain what—"

However, the elder's words were cut short as he spotted Yue Qi, whom Alex was still holding.

"Did you attack Yue Qi? You know that such actions are against the rules, right? Rules are absolute, and even being a disciple of the Sect Master doesn't permit you to violate them," the elder stated sternly, his eyes cold.

Alex regarded the old man with incredulity. This was his territory, and he had been the victim of an attack in his own private space. To him, the entire situation was preposterous. He was about to voice his dissatisfaction when Yue Qi intervened.

"It's alright; I'm the one who attacked first," Yue Qi admitted. He then disappeared from Alex's grasp and reappeared next to the old elder. A mysterious smile played on his lips.

"We will meet again soon, Zhi Li," Yue Qi declared cryptically before departing. The elders nodded and teleported away, leaving everyone in the room dumbfounded.

Chang Li, who had managed to recover, inquired, "Who was that?"

Alex stood there, his eyes piercing through space as he focused on the memory of Yue Qi's attack. A maniacal smile stretched across his face, sending shivers down Fengying's spine. Alex looked like a different person—a fierce and determined one. he saw a Disturbance in the space moment Yue Qi disappeared from his hand, like a Blink but it was much more, He detected this very quick and smiled.

Fengying, who had never seen Alex with such an expression before, couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding. Alex's eyes were ablaze with a blue light as he muttered to himself, "I finally fucking found you."
