With determination in his heart, he took up his temp role at the head branch. But the unexpected twist occurs when Nicholas discovers that not only was his 'supposed bride' his one-night stand, she was also pregnant. 

Taking advantage of 'the' situation, he proposed a deal, the only one he believed would get him out of his father's ultimatum — a contract marriage.

Kimberly reclined on her plush sofa, savoring a slice of pepperoni pizza while watching an old romantic comedy on television.

She relished these rare moments of tranquility, where she could indulge in comfort food and lose herself in a light-hearted movie. As she reached for another slice, her thoughts drifted to Caroline, and she realized she hadn't called to find out if Caroline had travelled with Cillian yet.

Frowning slightly, Kimberly picked up her phone and dialed Caroline's number. It rang a few times before Caroline's cheerful voice answered.

"Just relaxing with some pizza and a movie. How are you doing? I was wondering if you've traveled with Cillian as planned?"

Caroline laughed softly. "Yes, we arrived a while ago and we're actually in a cab on our way to my parents' home right now. Do you want to say hello to Cillian?"
