The Story

“Where are we, Peter?” Micah’s voice echoed in the vast emptiness of their surroundings. The two boys found themselves in a perplexing realm devoid of color, a space suspended in a timeless void.

“I don’t know,” Peter replied, his voice tinged with uncertainty. “Everywhere is just gray or blank or something like that. I’m not really sure.”

Peter hesitated for a moment, trying to make sense of their strange predicament. The absence of any discernible landmarks left them feeling disoriented and anxious. Then, as if to compound their confusion, an eerie sensation washed over Peter. It was as if an invisible force had taken hold of him.

“Whoa,” Peter muttered, his gaze fixed on the curious object before him. It was the Heather Eye, a mysterious orb that floated barely above the colorless ground, its azure radiance contrasting vividly with the desaturated surroundings.
