The Reveal

"Is this not a surprise?" Micah asked, his head rocked up and faced up the building. His eyes widened in awe as he took in the sheer magnificence of the architecture.

"No, it was more of a diversion," Peter responded, his realization quite correct. "That's probably meant to distract enemies, keep them occupied."

Micah nodded, his curiosity piqued. "That is quite smart. So where is the surprise? What surprise could be so great, that they need a Goliath of a diversion?" His concern was greatly projected, his mind racing with possibilities.

"I don't know," Peter admitted, his brow furrowed in thought. The mystery of it all gnawed at him, and he couldn't help but wonder what lay beyond the grand façade of the building.

Micah sighed in frustration. "We're not even dressed, we haven't even eaten, and this supposed surprise..."

"Please don't say it," Peter interrupted, knowing that Micah had a tendency to speak his mind without filter.
