Help Mommy

Max had fallen asleep when Richard arrived. He walks in frowning. 

"If your sleepy go home , don't do that it's uncomfortable for Lily "he said. 

Max opened her eyes sitting up. 

"Your here "she muttered. 

"How is Lily "Richard asked moving to the bed. 

"Stable now "

"When is she being discharged "he asked. 

"Tomorrow "answered Max. 

"I will pick her up "he said. 

"Am sorry what? Your not taking my daughter anywhere "she said. 

"Max, we have been together all this time and you have never played your part as a mother, your always busy to even pick her up from school " he said. 

"That doesn't me I don't care. Lily is my child Richard and I have don't best for her , you know that too "she breathed. 

He smirked, "Then where we're you last night when she was calling out your name , huh? Where was her mother when she needed her" 

Max moved back feeling her tears sting in her eyes.
