'Treat Kingdom? What kind of shitty propaganda is that?' Stell didn't believe a word that the professor said. No government's word should be taken at face value.
'Also, what's an exile? This is getting more and more interesting.' Stell's eyes practically started shining. That was it. That was the moment he had been waiting for.
Calming himself again, he analyzed the situation. 'They want to exploit us in some way. No, maybe Treat is truly powerful enough. Maybe they are just helping random humans. It's unlikely, though...'
As Stell was pondering Treat Kingdom's intentions, the professor continued explaining.
"What happened? All of you were exiled from your respective planets. You reached that planet's peak of natural evolution and have even gone beyond it.
"If you concentrate hard enough, everyone present should sense a strange power within you. It's like a new organ. Its true name is Volo, but most people call it Order." The professor patiently explained.
Indeed, after most people attempted to sense a new power within themselves, they discovered the Volo.
"Volo is an incredible power. It allows a person to fulfill any wish. There's a catch, though. Only five wishes can be fulfilled. After that, your Volo transforms into Order. The wishes you used for the Order will allow you to gain certain affinities." The professor paused, smiling slightly at his 'students.'.
And just as he expected, many hands were up in the air. After the professor nodded at one of the students, the student gained the ability to speak.
"Is there a cost to the wishes, or can we wish whatever we want whenever we want?" The person asked.
'Good question.' Stell praised. Looking expectantly at the professor, he awaited the answer.
"There is. It's 'achievements'. Achievements are the very essence of every living being. Achievements are classified into three ranks: Common, Rare, and Epic." The professor didn't disappoint. Not letting the confused faces of his students stop him, he continued explaining.
"There is a further division from low-tier to peak-tier. The higher the rank, the better the affinity towards a certain element. Don't worry, though. The affinities can be enhanced. It's just rare." The professor patiently explained.
The information left every student wide-eyed.
'Amazing! The new world is going to be so much fun!" Stell momentarily forgot his earlier suspicions of Treat Kingdom. With shiny eyes, he began daydreaming.
'The most important concern is what affinities I should go for. Wait, I should ask something.' After Stell raised his hand, the professor nodded, giving him permission to speak.
"If we use multiple wishes on the same element, will that element strengthen further?" He was truly curious. If it worked that way, he would also have to consider the number of his future elements.
"It will." The professor nodded and elaborated, "An affinity strengthened by five wishes will be significantly stronger than an affinity born from a single wish."
Nodding, Stell immediately started thinking about his future. Meanwhile, another person asked a new question.
"How wide is the difference between a rare element and an epic one?"
"You asked the wrong question, little boy." The professor shook his head. "There is a classification of elements too. Rare affinity can't be acquired with a common wish. Of course, Epic Affinity can't too.
"Regarding the difference in strength between a common affinity obtained through a common wish and a rare wish, I'd say it's usually about double. The tier doesn't affect an affinity's strength; it only affects the wish."
Everyone present nodded, understanding that Epic Rank was the best.
Then, a person asked a question that many students frowned upon, thinking that it was a waste of time and precious opportunity.
"Why is your name BY704? Are you an advanced Artificial Intelligence?" The person got excited.
"Yes, I am. The first letter of my name represents the 'class' of people that I am teaching. The second one represents their rank in the 'class'. The last one is simply a number of my classroom." The professor patiently answered the person's question.
"Can you explain further-" '-about the AI' The person asking wanted to continue, but his classmates' glares made him swallow his words.
"Of course. Class B is for people who are highly adaptable. Class A is for people who already earned strong achievements and have special skills. And finally, the class S is for the people whose fates were tampered with." The professor casually gave out super-important information.
"Fates were tampered with?" The person who somehow still had permission the speak murmured.
"Yes. Usually, they are reincarnated, people with systems or something else."
As the professor began explaining, Stell's eyes lit up.
'That's a damn protagonist class! How enviable! I have to make them my friends. No, subordinates! Yes, I gotta catch em all!'
