Chapter One: The Journey, The Long Journey.

Anooin gets packed for the three and a half year journey from Flaretopia II to Flarapia and then to Uri

"Alright. I've gotten everything that I need until I get there, after that, I'm set. (I'm so glad the transports have their own rooms and aren't just seats!)"

"Anooin! Hey, dude! I saw you were packing all your bags. Where ya' headed?" said one of his best friends that he had grown up with his whole life, Aaron.

"Ah, you know the drill, (NO, NO, NO, he doesn't! he's not a Flaretopian dummy!) good ole' military boot camp."

"Oh, 'you going into the forces or somethin'? I mean, I have nothing against it, but, meh, I've been there, done that."

"Oh! yeah! (so he does know the drill? didn't know that.) the good ole' days of 'Private Mintz'!"

"Yep! Well, I guess I shouldn't hold you up any longer, you probably have to leave soon."

"Yeah, My vessel leaves in about an hour."

"Well, safe travels!"

"Yeah, you too!" (Please don't tell me I just said that, I'm nervous!)

"You too?"

"Oops! Sorry! I'm a little nervous."

"Oh, you got the 'space-travel-jitters'?"

"You could call it that."

Anooin and Aaron part ways, and Anooin sets out for the transport labeled: Delta Port 5070, and finds it shortly after.

"Alright, now time for the 30 minute wait to get on."

15 minutes later

"Quicker than usual, odd. its almost like my father set it up so that this transport would be easier to get on. meh, either way, goodbye Flaretopia!"

and as he steps on the doors to the transport close and the crew lead him to his room which was conveniently towards the first class guests."

"can't get enough of it!"

He unpacks his stuff: clothes, devices, gadgets, etc.

"Alright. Now that I have that I can explore the rest of the vessel. In which case, maybe I'll be able to meet someone, or thing."

"I guess for now, I'll take a nap to get pass the 'space sickness' part."

He goes to sleep, when someone randomly enters his room.

"Sir? Sir? Are you awake?" Said a Flight Attendee.

"Huh? What?" just waking from his nap, "Oh, yes I am."

"Well I need to see your ticket to board sir, I didn't see it coming in."

"Oh, yes, I apologize." "Here you go."

"Mr. Anooin Flar- Oh My. I apologize your highness!"

"Nope, not yet, that's where I'm headed." "I'm headed to get my permit to become prince."

"Well, thank you for boarding with us today."

"You're welcome."

The Flight Attendee leaves the room holding the door for Anooin, as he leaves with her, they part ways in the hall.

"Okay, Where to go, Where to go..." "Ah! yes. The Cafeteria, the place of dreams!"

Anooin leaves the room and heads for the cafeteria, and on his way he meets a peculiar person, one he recognizes, but has (what he thinks) never seen. He stops the man to talk.

"Sir? Do I know you?" Anooin questions.

"No, I don't think you do, actually." States the questionable man, seeming like he has seen Anooin before, but desperately tries to hide it.

"I feel like I have, What's your name?"

"My name is Nagol, I don't come from Flaretopian descent, I am actually boarding this to head to Uri, my birthplace." "And to also go to military boot camp. What about you?"

"I am doing the same thing. That is odd."

"Military boot camp as well? I suppose that is odd." "What sector?"

"Sector FMPT" "I'm going to train to be prince of Flaretopia, I have to have the rank of General before I can apply to get my licence to train to be king."

"Things are starting to get weird. What is your name? First and Last."

"Anooin Flares. I'm the son of the Alpha High King Postler IV."

"Um, I think I need to be going, I have to get back to my room. my pet might be scared. I mean, well, nice seeing you Mr. Anooin."

"Uh, You to, Mr. Nagol."

As Nagol and Anooin part ways, Nagol slips a note into Anooin's Pocket. Only for Anooin to realize that pets arent allowed on the crafts, but Nagol was already gone. It wasn't worth the fight either way. He then reaches the Cafeteria.

"Finally! Food! Alright, what do we have today? first day, we just got to space, lets see what I'm eating."

"Fettin Huey? That's Fine with me!"

Fettin Huey is a Flaretopian delicacy. It is like a Burger, but with Fettuccine Alfredo on it instead of meat. Note: Flaretopians rarely eat meat.

"Well, that was great- what? what is this?"

He pulls the note out of his pocket from Nagol.

"Meet me in my room ASAP. We need to talk." Anooin reads from the note.

"What room?" "there are like, 4,000 rooms in this thing. Not including the faculty and janitorial rooms."

"on the back maybe?"

"no."

"huh?"

He reads the note over and over again. time after time. until,

"Wait a minute. I've got it."

He walks to the reception desk towards the boarding doors of the ship.

"Sir, I need to find a man?"

"May I ask who? I can search for their room?" the attendee questions.

"He said his name was,"

Forgetting what the man's name was, he looks down at the note, which is signed,

"Nagol Flar-" Anooin Stutters.

"Is there a problem sir?" the Attendee questions.

"No, No, Sorry. Nagol Flares is, is- his name."

"(This is impossible! I don't have any siblings, nor family on my mothers side! Which only leaves my Fathers side, or-)"

"Alright I've found a(n) Nagolious Flares. Room- 209. B Deck."

"Alright, Thanks."

Confused, Anooin writes the number and deck on the back of the note, then scurries back to his room.

"What on- How? I- Do I have a(n) adopted brother? Or, is it my real brother?"

"Only one way to find out, I guess."

Quite worried of what is about to happen, he follows the map of the ship all the way up to the B Deck, then to the door of Room 209.

"Well, here goes nothing."

Knock. Knock.

"One second!" Someone from inside of the room responds.

"Okay! You just- Take your time!"

Nagolious opens the door to be greeted by Anooin. Anooin then walks into the room and the door shuts behind him.

"Sorry for the late visit." Anooin explains.

"Nope, you are- Perfect. Just on time." Nagolious states.

"You had it scheduled for when I would arrive?"

"In a sense."

"What do you mean, 'in a sense'?"

"Well, I think we are both Super-Humans."

"Like, Superhero type stuff or, literal, power-given, fire-spitting, water-blowing, sea-splitting, powers?"

"Yes, and that we are both brothers." "Twin, Brothers."

"TWIN?"

"Woah there bud'! Hold your horses. Yes, Twin Brothers. When do you last remember your mother?"

"A little sensitive, but logical. Um, she was killed in the first systemic war." "So like, 500 THYR?"

"My mother died in that same war." Nagolious claims.

"Oh, well sorry for your loss. But, how do you know we aren't just extremely alike?"

"The odds of being extremely alike to someone at this ratio is nearly impossible." "For Flaretopians of course."

"I mean, yes but-"

"Anooin, you can't deny it anymore."

"I think it's about time I leave-"

"You can't deny it!"

"I need to leave Nagol." "Thanks for having me over."

"Would you like to atleast like to have a drink before you go?

"No, thanks."

Anooin barges through the door and dashes to his room. only to get there, and realize that he had forgotten his phone on Nagols coffee table.

"I forgot-"

"argh."

"might as well just go to bed and get up early and head back down there for it. I need that for communication with my father."

Anooin goes to bed, and wakes up a lot later than he anticipated, and by what he didn't anticipate.

"Anooin! Wake up! I have your phone and i need to show you something!" Nagol yelled into the room.

"Give me a minute!" Anooin shouted.

"(This dude again? and wait, how did he find my room? he doesn't know my na- oh, right, he thinks we're brothers.)"

Anooin walks up to the door to be greeted by Nagol.

"Yeah?"

"Okay, I have several things to show you." "But first, here is this,"

"Ohh yeah, this, (And he brought my phone!) Thanks."

"Yep! May I come in?"

"Yeah, of course. (Anooin NO! This dude is a creep and you just let him in your room.)"

"Alright,"

Nagol rolls out a makeshift roll of pictures with what seem to be him and his family.

"Who are these people?" "And is that my mother?"

"Yes! this is Mary, Mary- uh, Kinsland? I think that was my mothers last name."

"Um, okay, What does that have to do with anything?"

"What was your mothers name? Anooin?"

"Mary, Mary- Kin- s- land."

"I knew it." "Now look at this picture. Have you ever seen it?"

"Why, yes I have?"

"Have you ever wondered who that boy here was?"

"Well,"

"That is Me."

"There is no way."

"Yes, there is! Do you have a copy of the photo with you? like on your phone or in your baggage?"

"Maybe. I can check?"

"Yeah, go ahead and do that."

"Here, Here it is."

Nagol Compares the pictures in their near identical qualities. except one problem. they are completely different orientations, one facing the portrait way the other, landscape.

"That is odd. its the same picture, but different orientations."

"That is weird."

"Where did you get it?"

"I inherited it from my mother." stated Nagol.

"I got mine from my mother aswell."

"Okay, well i have more proof on our relation."

"That is?"

"Look at this picture."

He pulls out a picture of him and his family, a picture that strangely looked like a picture that was in the front corridor as you enter the Flaretopian Palace.

"Is that a stolen picture? Who let you have that image? And how did you get into the palace? no one except people who are closely related, or kin to me or my father are allowed to enter?"

"Listen to yourself, Anooin. you are proving yourself that me and you are related."

"You got anything else to prove it? When we get to Flarapia we can do DNA tests, but until then you will need to have some serious proof that me and you are related, because otherwise, I'm not believing you."

"Okay, Okay, I'm not usually fond of DNA tests, but for this specific reason, I will get one."

"Well, I must get dressed and get going, you might want to aswell. And as a matter of a fact, meet me tonight in the Botanical Garden in the East Sector of this Vessel at 2:43 AM, precisely. we need to talk then. until then though, i need to get a move on."

"Okay, well, see you later!"

After Nagol left the room, Anooin gets dressed and heads to the Cafeteria for lunch, then heads to the observation deck, to, observe, space.
