"Seems the crown prince is in trouble," Kuma said as he sat by the television.

I felt Sil's eyes on me.

My breathing remained heavy as my big brother continued to fight. Ore's breathing was pained. He pushed himself in order to move and more so to attack. His body was going to give in soon at this rate. I curled up and pressed my hands against my forehead. Please win, Big Brother.

"Is that all you've got, Orlin?" Eorus taunted, his voice echoing through the dust cloud.

I gritted my teeth, my grip tightening around my sword. "You wish!" I retorted, my voice raspy from the fatigue.

My hand tightened on my sword. I took a deep breath. I had to make this count, if I missed, I would have to live with the knowledge I cost my people their access to the water of the lake. I could not afford to falter. All of my remaining mana flowed into my sword, the blade glowing with a dark aura.
