Artie swept the house while I tutored Sil, Kiki, and Koga. Today, Kuma couldn't make it as he had a sporting event to attend, while Alli was helping Mrs. Daikiri come up with new ideas for their baking business.

"Do you guys know what ten minus seven is?" I asked.

Koga kept quiet but smiled at his sister and Sil.

"Um, ten peaches, and Sil eats seven, leaving me with three! It's three!" Kiki said, reciting the little story I used to teach the kids. I had used actual fruit on the first couple of days.

Sil frowned and wrote down some numbers. He mumbled to himself and began writing down numbers. "Five minus seven is two!" He smiled and pointed at his answer.

"You're not wrong, but it's negative two," I said, snickering.

He frowned. "Like what Mommy owe the evil lady?"
