I groaned as I slowly opened my eyes. "Wh-what happened?"

My vision was blurry, but I could make out a man standing next to my bed. He wore a black cloak, obscuring most of his face, except for one glowing golden-eye.

I pushed myself of my bed and realized it wasn't a bed. It was a casket.

The man smirked. "You're finally awake."

"Who are you?" I asked, glaring at him. "Why am I in a casket?"

"You're in a casket because you're dead."

"Dead?" My eyes widened as I remembered what had happened. I'd taken a bullet for Koyu. "How's Koyu? Is she alright?"

He chuckled. "You learn you died, but you're more worried over the safety of another?"

I stood up. "Of course I am! Now, tell me what happened to Koyuki!"

"She's fine. But, what about you? Don't you want to know what I did to you?"

I glared at him. "Are you a demon?"
