Chapter 123: Buried Feelings

*Kohei*

I stared at the doorway. The sound of footsteps approaching vibrated on the ground. Had Ore decided to return for more? Honestly, that boy was nothing but heart. As a young man, it was to be expected that he would have some sort of idealism, but being idealistic could not last. Eventually, he would run into the wall that is reality. It would destroy him if he couldn't mellow out. He had to learn to use that head of his more.

As the vibrations grew closer, I realized it wasn't my son, but the prime minister. The doors swung open and in came Itou.

"What brings you here, Minister Itou?" I asked, glaring at him.

"In a bad mood, Sire?" he asked as he walked the purple carpet.

I sighed. "This is my usual mood."

He snickered. "Well, yes. You are usually not in a good mood."

"Are you only here to annoy me? If so, I ask that you depart from here before I lose my patience with you."
