Chapter 176: Dreams of Motherhood

*Rosemary*

I opened my eyes and found myself in my bedroom. My eyes lingered on my hands. Was that a dream? Or had I actually touched Saffron just now? My dreams sure were strange. It was hard to tell if they were real or not.

Pressing my hands against my bosom, I smiled. Saffron felt warm. I sighed. Maybe I missed him more than I wished to let on. Not that I was good at hiding it. His whole family had surely noticed. Even five-year-old Sil had teased me about it.

My heart dropped. Saffron's vibe before he turned to look at me felt anxious. Something must've been bothering him, but what?

I shook my head, trying to clear my thoughts. It was no use speculating. I'd just have to wait until he came back.
