I spun around, sending flames in all directions. "Dance under my flames, Kuroriku!"

Kazuki raised his staff, creating a wall of water, but it was no match against my crimson flames.

Much to my shock, Gael leaped out of the evaporating the waters and shot icy strands outward in multiple directions.

I raised my cane at the icy webbing, melting it away, but the water vapor quickly condensed again, forming an even more complex web than before.

Gael's ice web continued to grow, encasing my flames and gradually dampening their ferocity. I gritted my teeth and pushed my flames further, but the icy assault was relentless.

"Persistent, aren't you?" I grumbled, my eyes moving between Gael and Kazuki. The Grand Duke was still, watching the battle with a calculating gaze that made me uneasy.
