Chapter 323: Hurdle

I tossed and turned in bed as Cyra's tails dragged me into the darkness of her domain.

"You can't escape," Cyra said, grinning.

"Let me go!" I yelled, trying to call upon the wind. The wind didn't come, instead, tendrils of darkness gripped me.

She snickered as kissed my cheeks. "You're mine, my darling."

I gasped for air and woke up from my bed. The sun rays were gradually beginning to pour into my room.

"I-it was all a dream," I muttered, sighing. That was scarier than the nightmare in the dreamscape. Nightmares... Demosnia was always watching us. Every time we had a nightmare, he was there. 

I stared at the shadows underneath my bed, as if expecting them to move. Thankfully, they did not. I scanned my room to make sure there was nothing out of place from how I recalled it. I didn't wish to step out of my bed, only to realize I was still in a nightmare.
