3- Getting Started(Rewritten)

"My baby! Are you hurt anywhere? Shall we have the doctor check you once more? " His mother, Rachel Jackson was like a typical overly doting mother. When she heard about the plane crash, she was devastated. The love of her life had died.

But atleast her son was still alive.

"I am fine mom. But your hug is crushing me. " Harry managed to say. Rachel looked at her son once again. He had changed. She could tell that. Maybe the death of his father had changed him.

While the mother-son were catching up, Mason was making calls.

He had to get Harry that opportunity. He was trying to make calls to his friend's in the board.

The news of Harry being alive had shaken everyone. They thought that now that the Chairman was dead, they had a chance. But now that Chairman's son was still alive, he was going to come after them. They had to make sure that he wouldn't be able to do anything to them.

After calling a board meeting, Harry and Mason entered the main building of Jackson MultiMedia. Harry's hand was still in a cast but he was better than two months ago. His father had shielded Harry from most of the damage.

It was a very tall building. It reminded Harry of his previous life. Those good bad memories.

When the duo entered, everyone looked at Harry. He was the would be heir of the company. But he looked so young, and handsome.

When they entered the Board room, mostly everyone was present. When they saw Harry, some came to wish him a speedy recovery while others ignored him and talked with Mason about the upcoming meeting.

(Now I won't punish you with the entire meeting as I don't know how those type of meeting goes but just imagine it)

"We can give you a chance to work yourself up from the bottom. If you can do it then your father's position would be yours. But since you are his son we will offer you some benefits. You have to manage Jackson Television for half a year. If by the end of your tenure you perform well, we can let you manage it for the unforeseeable future. Of course you advance to the next stage anytime after your tenure but first, you have to make JTV the best in the TV business. "

Lawrence was the third largest shareholder after Mason and Harry's father.

You can say that he opposed the Jackson brother's iron rule over the company. Now that one of them was dead, he saw the opportunity to gain more control. First he would have to isolate Mason and he would do that by giving Harry a near impossible task.

Doing that would keep Harry busy with Television and Mason would be busy in the headquarters. Alone.

Mason wanted to argue about the challenge but seeing Harry, he stopped. It would be a good learning chance for Harry. When his father was alive, Harry would stay in the HQ all day and didn't experience other side branches that much.

"What is the budget? " Harry asked. He expected Jackson Entertainment but JTV was still good.

"You would get the budget on your first day at JTV. We wish you the best of luck"
