Chapter 4

Sarah looked at William as he focused on controlling his energy, wanting to make her glow. He was concentrating, his eyes half-opened as he tried to keep his chaotic power under control.

Suddenly, Sarah felt her body get warmer. A faint light appeared around her body, and only a moment later, she was glowing. William was doing all of this.

"Woah..." she whispered, turning to face him.

William looked back at her, smiling proudly.

"You're glowing," he said.

"This power is... incredible," Sarah said softly.

The feeling of the warmth around her was incredible, and the light from her body was fascinating.

"William, you truly are talented." She looked back at him and smiled. "Very few have this level of control over their chaotic crystals, let alone being able to harness something like this. "

William was excited by her words, but he was too focused on his new power to let his enthusiasm show. He wanted to get better. He wanted to learn more.

"I know you still have a lot to learn," Sarah continued. "But I want you to know that I believe in you, William. I know you can be a powerful wizard someday. Just don't ever let your powers control you. "

William looked back at her, not knowing what to say. He just nodded in agreement.

"Let's keep trying out some other spells," Sarah said, turning the conversation back to their lessons. "I have a few more things I want you to try today."

William nodded again, his mind filled with ideas.

"What else can I do with this power?" He asked her. "I want to do more. I want to unlock all kinds of new possibilities with magic."

Sarah smiled.

"That's a good attitude for a wizard, William. Always push yourself to get better, and always strive for more. And yes, there is a lot that can be done with this power. But let's focus on the basics for now. "

"The basics," William agreed, looking at the glowing Sarah and smiling. "What else can I learn from you, Sarah?"

Sarah thought for a moment, running through her memories of teaching young wizards like William. There was so much she could tell him, so much to teach him, and she felt a sense of excitement at the thought of giving William a chance to shine.

"Tell me, William, what would you most like to learn about magic?" she asked him.

William thought for a moment, trying to decide between so many possibilities.

"There are so many things I want to figure out," he said. "But I guess... first and foremost, I want to figure out how to control the chaos entirely. I want to learn how to never let it get out of control, how to harness the power and do whatever I want with it. Does that make sense?"

Sarah nodded. "Of course, that makes perfect sense. And I think that's a good place to start. Learning how to control the chaos is essential. But let's move ahead, William. There is a lot more you need to know. "

William nodded thoughtfully. It made sense that controlling the chaos was important, but he didn't realize how important it was until he had tried it.

"Okay, what else do I need to know?" he asked Sarah. "What other basics should I learn? "

Sarah thought for a moment, her mind going through all that she could teach him.

"We should focus on spell casting," she decided. "Your ability to control the chaos is vital to being able to cast spells. How about we go through some more basic spells? "

"Yes, let's try spellcasting!" William said excitedly. "I want to learn more! I want to learn as much as I can!"

Sarah nodded and looked back at William. She had never taught a student with this much excitement and energy, and she felt happy to see William so enthusiastic.

"Okay," she said with a smile. "I'm gonna guide you through a few basic spells now. Just relax and follow my instructions, okay? "

William nodded again, a look of determination on his face. He was excited to be learning these new spells and using his power in this new and unfamiliar way.

"Okay. I'll follow your instructions," he said. "Let's start the lesson".

Sarah looked at William and smiled.

"Good," she said. "Let's get started then."

She took a position in front of William and extended her left hand out to him.

"You're gonna learn a simple spell for pushing objects away. It's a very basic defense spell and a great place to start. But you need to learn how to cast this spell as quickly as possible, so pay close attention. Okay?"

William nodded again, taking a deep breath and clearing his mind as Sarah gave him the instructions.

"I'm ready," he said.

Sarah looked back at him and nodded. "Okay, just focus your energy. Try to make it stable and push it out of your palm. Remember, try to focus as hard as you can to make it move as quickly as possible. "

William nodded and closed his eyes, focusing his energy again. He did his best to make the energy in his palm stable and then pushed it out as hard as he could.

William pushed his energy out and a burst of green light flew from his palm, pushing Sarah back a few feet.

"Woah! " Sarah exclaimed, looking at William with a smile on her face. "That was fast! You really did it, William! You just cast your first spell! "

William let out a sigh of relief and looked down at his palm, amazed by the fact that he had just learned how to unleash his energy and cast his very first spell. His eyes widened in excitement as he looked back to Sarah.

"That's amazing, William! You were able to focus and unleash all that power! You created this spell by yourself, with just the chaotic energy inside you. How do you feel?"

William thought for a moment, taking in the feeling of having created his very own magic.

"It's incredible!" He said excitedly. "I feel... free! I feel like I can control this energy like it's just an extension of myself! "

Sarah nodded. "Exactly. Magic is just an extension of your will, William. Your energy... "
