A journey

As the journey progressed, the men were all chatting and throwing jokes at each other.

I busted my thoughts with what I was going to do.

Magdou had told me to find someone in the wastelands. That was where I needed to go.

From the day that I had heard the conversation between papa and mother, I was out of place at home.

I wanted to know who I really was.

"You're quiet." Came the voice behind me jolting me up from my thoughts.

"You prefer me fighting with you?" I asked him.

"It's better than you quiet." He said.

I sighed. "I was just thinking."

"This is not any of my doings. I don't have any leeway to get out of this. If I could I would." He said.

"Why can't you just let me go?" I asked surprised. "It would be easy for you. A burden free."

"Like I said there are things in Elmir that you don't know about." He repeated.

"Like?" I asked.
