I just stared in absolute shock and disgust.

He had told me that he had eyes for only me and because he knew I was gullible, inexperienced and stupid, I had believed him.

He had claimed to have barely noticed her, but here was the insolent and stupid maid who had disrespected me only a few minutes ago, on his laps.
