Adapting the Trial
Yun Haoran oversaw the happenings of the Path of Heaven. His eyes have appreciation and wisdom. Appreciation for the structure that was created by an inflexible individual and wisdom for knowing it all.
"I told you, oh Heaven. I am fair and square." Yun Haoran smiled proudly. Looking at the white being in front of him.
"Hm, yes. Mortals do mortal things but Cultivators surpass their limits. We like that." The white being said, nodding his head in understanding.
Just like what Yong Yunzi remembered, Mortals would breeze through the tutorial but they would never have any rankings. Talented Mortals instead would have secret prices that they could use to enter the Cultivation World.
"Are you sure you don't want to join?" The white is added with a question.
"I plan on doing that but I change my mind. My Junior Sister didn't need any grinding. She knows her limits." Yun Haoran said with confidence in his eyes.
His confidence comes from the decision of his Master and Yong Yunzi's performance on the tutorial in the path of Heaven.
He realizes Yong Yunzi's nature, is to know the vastness of Heavens while knowing there would be Heavens outside more Heavens.
Doing so would boost her speed in Cultivation. Like a frog trying to climb on the well, knowing there is a wider world out there. It is about her nature of fighting and invisibly being suppressed by powerful beings.
Yun Haoran even let Blackie and Whitey enter for two reasons, for them to have fun and for Yong Yunzi to try to catch up to them. If they have the same surname as him, she would try to beat them because only one Yun should exist.
By having him enter and break all those records, she would realize there are more scary existences than Yun Haoran's generation.
However, it is out of his expectations that she would top the Tutorials. It would be impossible without Yun Haoran's talent.
'She even scored a perfect score on a stingy individual.' Yun Haoran thought with a smile on his face. He would know better how strong her Dao Heart is in the next tutorial.
The stronger her Dao Heart, the better. This world would have more scary individuals, with heaven-defying talents and invincibility. If her heart gave up, then her path is already finished. The ancient sects, clans, and individuals that are sealed because of a catastrophe are a being even his generations should fear.
'Although it is impossible to match me.' He thought while fixing another bug.
The reason for all that help? No particular reason. He was bored anyway so why not do something productive, is what he thought. Although he only knew her for a few days, he felt helping her. First, to let his Master not worry about her, and second, he felt she have talent.
"No, you are mistaking me. If you join in it, you can get those 'Rewards' and then in the 'Shop.' You are also a half-step 'Supreme' without that trial so this Path of Heaven is beneficial to you." The white being said.
"By having you on that trial, We can discover more errors on the Path of Heaven. Two birds with one stone." He added.
"Those are redundant to me. A better analogy would be 'An Endless Ocean putting a drop of water.' I might as well help you until you finally return, Heaven." Yun Haoran replied with a smile on his face.
It was not arrogance but those rewards are extremely useless to him. He only needed time and patience and he would become a Grotto Heaven at the age of 29, with the Qi Sea 13th Foundation.
But with the Young Tree, he could do it for 3 months or so. He would also try to become a Peak Grotto Heaven for 2 years. He could make it so that he would have a breeze gaining strength but not enough accumulation or foundation would lead to a downfall.
He also didn't need the Defying increase in Comprehension, Talent, and Enlightenment because he had all that it took. He has an insane comprehension after all. He can step into epiphany or enlightenment anytime he wants.
His Spiritual Root is the one holding him back for the first time but all of it is negated through time.
"You are greedier than I expected but alright, I'll reward you with our advent. We and you cannot talk like this in our eventual fusion, not until you become a Peak Existence." The white being replied.
"What do you know? You already said, 'You have no greed in you but you also are not content.' I can flip that Path of Heaven and even extort you because I designed that. I know its worth could make the Myriad Martial World or even all the World out there become stronger but I pass on that." Yun Haoran replied back with a passion in his voice.
"With my talent, I could create another path. Let's call that…" He added with untimely confidence.
The white being who heard it nodded his head in understanding. It was not censored but the heavy declaration made it impossible to be said or heard.
"If it's you, that path would be equal or stronger than the Emperor's Path. We will support you on that but I don't know our other side." The white being said. It would support Yun Haoran because they have the same mindset for the most part but he didn't know if the other side would agree.
"But why are your pets also dominating the Path of Heaven, Yun Haoran?" It added with a bit of a chill in its voice.
"I don't know what you are saying." Yun Haoran expressed disinterest and just did his stuff.

Yun Shi looked at the vast expanse of stairs leading to Heaven. It was alright to call it the Stairs to Heaven instead because of the sacredness it brought. It was a spiral stair without anything to hold onto.
Yun Shi is Whitey. She was dressed in a white robe. Her white hair flowed freely in the wind with braids here and there. While her crimson red eyes gleam with unknown light.
In the Path of Heaven, not only Humans but all sorts of Species can come and design their own looks. They could transform into a humanoid appearance or keep their original appearance. Even Devils could come which shocked them and even had an overjoyed look on their faces.
There are many more rules imposed by Heaven and Yun Haoran but it is the most basic to create an equal environment for all.
"Father said that this is the last tri…, erm tutorial to go down the main Path of Heaven. It would test our Dao Heart." Yun Shi said while she scanned the stairway.
"Alright, let's get going so I can meet Brother faster." She then stepped onto the stairs. Her heart was at ease because she had the confidence to finish it all.
She felt that she was suppressed on all sides but it was too weak even for her. All participants would say that it was weak and had their confidence soar but only three of them knew how hellish this Dao Heart trial is.
Yong Yunzi naturally experienced this hell herself while Yun Shi and Yun Hao knew how absurd their father was.
"Not worth adapting." She then goes up step by step. In a blink of an eye, she was at the 10th step.
On the 10th, she felt an itch but not worth even being remembered. She was suppressed at all sides while an itch was happening over her body. It becomes stronger until the 20th step.
When she stepped to the 20th step, she felt cold all over but still a weak feeling. The itch and being suppressed is the one becoming stronger.
'Father's ideas are absurd but I like them. Adaptation is not only on my body but it also includes my essence, qi, spirit, and Heart.' She mumbled.
Adaptations are the ability to adapt to any situation. Unlike the Evolution of Blackie who gained other skills or parts to adapt to a situation, Yun Shi's Adaptation is about strengthening and learning the essence of things to adapt to anything.
When she was at the 30th step, the cold, itch, and being suppressed became stronger but another feeling emerged. The feeling of heat inside her body.
She was using Adaptation to let it register inside her Dao Heart so if she encountered another situation, she had the confidence that her heart could carry it out.
40th Step, she felt hungry
50th Step, she felt depression
60th Step, she felt pain all over her body
70th Step, she felt negative emotions she never knew existed
In the 80th Step, Yun Shi has a smile on her face looking at a shadow of her.
"Are you sure that is your true form?" The Shadow asked with a ridicule on her face.
"Nope, I am still a Centipede. My father's child and his Weapon. You should know your place, Shadow." Yun Shi said with confidence looking at her Shadow.
"That is the reason why you would only become a Weapon, discarded when the owner had found something better. You don't have any choice." The Shadow mocked her with great perseverance.
Until the 89th Floor, the Shadow ridiculed her. It would mock her until she stopped and fell off this stair.
Yun Shi on the other hand goes up without any care in the World. She would not believe in this Shadow's nonsense because her path is already decided when Yun Haoran gets them on that tree.
She lived an hour of her life on that tree, and the young Yun Haoran saw them. His eyes become twinkled seeing the two. Yun Shi's memories are foggy until that point because only when Yun Haoran was brought into the mountains did he manage to unlock their consciousness.
She had thought he was her Father and from that moment onwards, she and her Brother served that man. Their father spoiled them like his own child so they worked hard to become stronger.
Even if their path is towards Yun Haoran, the path their Father showed is brighter than anything else in this world. They both had known since they all experienced his absurdity and maybe knew a bit about his secrets.
At the 90th step, she became startled at the intensity of what she had been feeling so far. She began hallucinating those she had killed and how she became like them.
Yun Shi only smiled as her heart began tempering at a crazy speed. She had known the concept of the Dao Heart is about the perseverance, determination, goals, and aspirations of someone.
An ordinary cultivator would have their Dao Heart shattered, of course, a prevention had been used to not cause unnecessary damages.
Like if they cannot go on and they are trying to fool themselves, they will be called out again at their real body.
Unlike the other two trials, the concept and experience in this trial are real. No, the three are real but when the Dao Heart shattered here, their Dao Heart would also shatter in the real world.
On the 100th step, she became blinded by light. Her smile cannot be hidden because she did pass the tutorial.
