The first scene that Abigail had to play was already explained. She hadn't become a villain yet and was still the same Lily who would become timid and shy at the slightest thing. Abigail knew how she had to act very well.

Wasn't it similar to Arthur? He was also the same in the beginning of the novel, and he changed for good later on after meeting Chris and going through several ups and downs. Thus, she wasn't worried about it.

She glanced at Owen and cursed at her fate once again. Why did this have to happen to her, ah?! Even Asher couldn't do anything about it.

Of course, not that she would ever speak about it to the man. If she did, Asher would end up becoming even more colder and angrier. Who knows, he might even refuse to let her work in this movie anymore.

Abigail didn't want that. Thus, she took a deep breath and finally threw her phone on the table with a loud thump, gaining everyone's attention, even Owen's.
