Hidden Feelings

The rain was getting heavier and heavier, and I was getting more and more anxious as I lifted my hand up and wanted to hitch a ride.

I saw a white Cayenne which looked slightly familiar. The window was lowered, and a young and handsome face appeared.

"What's the matter, Marilyn? You were thrown at the side of the road and look like a pitiful puppy."

Xavier raised his eyebrows slightly and looked very smug.

I did not say anything. I ran away from the car in the rain and was ready to wait for another car.

However, he walked straight to me and carried me into the passenger seat.

"Dry your hair with my clothes first, and then put on my jacket."

Xavier took off his hoodie and threw it on my head. He was only left with a white T-shirt on him.

"Marilyn, do you know it now? The other men in the world are all scumbags."

"Yes, yes. Other men are all scumbags. You are a kind man."

He snorted disdainfully.
