"You're late."
With a cold expression, Samuel shook his watch at me.
"I just came back from doing my hair. I'm really sorry."
He nodded and looked at me from head to toe with that scrutinizing gaze.
I blushed a little.
"The skirt is not bad, but the shoes don't look good. There is still some time left. I will take you to buy a pair."
Having said that, he did not wait for me and walked straight to the mall.
With one goal in mind, Samuel entered a brand store. He was so skilled that I did not believe he had not found a girlfriend since he broke up with me.
"Try this pair. Take size six and a half."
How did he know I was wearing shoes in size six and a half?
The saleswoman gently held the shoes for me. "Miss, please sit here."
