A Midsummer Night's Love Poem

Joseph was so close to me. I could smell refreshing shampoo and my heart beat faster.

I didn't know what to do. Then he suddenly let go of me, walked quickly into his room, and closed the door.

Because of inertia, I almost lost my balance. Somehow, my gaze shifted to the floor.

I was stunned for a while and suddenly, I covered my face with my both hands, as if I realized something overwhelming.

From that day on, I began to avoid Joseph. When I was stuck on calculus, I'd rather seek help from people online than ask him.

Mom called me several times and asked me to listen to Joseph's advice. She also said Joseph was older than me and knew more things than me and I should take his advice.

Of course, I said yes as a good daughter.
