On the other side of the phone, Kimberly blurted out in dissatisfaction, "So that's it? He didn't say anything? What the hell did he think?"

I turned over and was not sleepy at all.

I closed my eyes and recalled the expression on Damon's face the other day. Then, I checked Damon's Instagram again.

He didn't post anything.

Would he already know about the condition of his dad?

The second day, I called my mother and got good news.

"Don't worry. Damon's dad has just passed the danger period and is now in stable condition. They can go home after another half month of observation."

I breathed a sigh of relief and asked, "Does Damon know this?"
