The moment I realized I did not go insane, I felt scared.
It meant I had just witnessed a murder, and the murderer lived next door. It made me feel an instinctive sense of fear.
Even though I was frightened, I was still a little excited.
Yes. I felt excitement.
The reason why I moved to Amity Garden was to look for a remarkable story.
I wanted to find it and write it down.
I wanted people to see that I was not a short-lived novelist who only relied on "The Corpse in the Living Room" to gain fame.
When the incident happened earlier, I was overcome by fear and called the police immediately.
However, after I calmed down, especially after the police searched everywhere and found nothing, and I was certain everything wasn't just a hallucination, exhilaration surged through my body.
If I could find the woman's body and uncover how the man hid her when even the police couldn't figure it out...
Then I would have an absolutely marvelous story.
