Sir Phillips and I were old friends. We had been in contact many times since Maria's death. He had been following up on her case.
After I called the police several times, he suggested I see a psychologist and introduced me to a friend of his who had come back from abroad to study psychology.
After hearing my story, the doctor said all of this stemmed from my guilt about Maria. He said I had been blaming myself for her death. As I forgot the murderer, I tried to remember him. In addition to all kinds of voices and pressure from the outside world, slowly, I involved myself in it. I thought of myself as the victim. When night fell, I felt like someone was trying to hurt me.
He told me the only way to cure a condition like that was to remember the killer and bring him to justice.
I thought what he said made sense, so I accepted his deep hypnosis treatment.
Finally, I saw what the murderer looked like.
To my surprise, the murderer turned out to be my fiance, Frank!
