The Dream Comes True

After we had enough rest, we continued to climb. When we reached the top of the mountain, it was about seven o'clock.

Feeling the cool wind, I narrowed my eyes comfortably. Suddenly, I remembered that I hadn't asked for his name yet. I turned my head and asked, "What's your name?"

"Ryland." He turned to look at me. "Your name is Rebecca Lynch, right?"

I nodded and looked up at the twinkling stars in the sky. Somehow, I thought of that strange dream.

"Ryland."

"Yes?" he replied.

"Did you also come to make a wish?"

Instead of answering, he asked, "Did you?"

"Yes, of course."

Before he could ask any further, I continued, "I hope I can have a good sleep."

He didn't say anything. He looked at me with his deep eyes, which made me feel like he had thought of something.

I was about to ask him when he smiled and said, "You will."

I thought he was just being polite, so I smiled emotionlessly, "Thank you."
