I knew why Randall had picked up a fight with Garrett.

Amy's leaving must have something to do with Garrett. I didn't know what had happened between them, but it must be serious, or Randall wouldn't have done this.

"You should ask your sister this question."

"She won't answer. Garrett said that Amy helped him over a decade ago. He has treated her as a friend all these years. He can't control how she feels for him."

My heart skipped a beat. I bit my lip and didn't say anything.

"He said he has never crossed the line and that my sister's feelings have to do with him."

Randall scratched his head in rage. "He did have a point, but I felt that something was wrong. He was too cold. And what has gotten into my sister?"

He glared at me and asked, "What about you? What do you see in him that makes you torture yourself for so many years?"

I gave him a quick look, and then I slowly looked out of the window.

There was a long silence.

"Say something!" Randall shouted impatiently.
