At lunchtime, Cillian returned.
"The kindergarten has been arranged. Aiden can go to school tomorrow."
"If she doesn't like it, I'll hire a nanny."
He acted like a loving father.
I only ask him one thing, "I want to see him."
He paused. But as if he hadn't heard me, he said, "Help me with my tie, Kristen."
I pretended not to hear him either.
Since he was in a good mood, Cillian did not pursue the matter. Instead, he took out a doll from behind his back.
Aiden exclaimed, "Wow! Miss Rabbit!"
"No, it's Mrs. Rabbit. There's also a Baby Rabbit here."
"It's Daddy, Mommy, and Aiden!"
He pinched her little face and said, "You're right."
This scene was an eyesore for me.
"Aiden put down the doll and eat first."
Cillian glanced at me and sat down on the other side.
After dinner, Cillian was ready to take me out.
Aiden pulled the edge of my dress, "Mom. I want to go too."
